That's a horrible OOC schedule if you want to be taken as a serious D1 football conference or showcase your talent level to NFL scouts.

Horrible idea for Southern, even worst for Grambling. LSU didnā€™t want anything to do with both schools when their players Grandfathers and Great Great Grandfathers played, but now they are willing to cut checks to the negro institutions. Oh well, we have pushed our pride and names to the side for them once again. No check is big enough!

I have a slightly different viewpoint. Itā€™s multiple black athletes that have to the pros in which the teams are probably owned by undercover racist. Yet they go, play, and earn a fortune. Then most of them give back to our under privileged communities. I will be in attendance for the LSU/SU game!

Lsu has played every football school in the state of Louisiana and some out of state cupcakes with an avg payout of $500k.
It was brought to the attention of the Louisiana Legislature and a decision was made to keep this money in-state and add Southern University and Grambling to their schedule.
This is not only an historic event but also a smart business decision for both schoolsā€¦
No, We donā€™t expect to beat Lsu, but due to the advent of the portal and smart coaching, we do expect to quit ourselves well while representing the Swacā€¦

So what brutha. McNeese State and other Southland Conference opponents like the donā€™t have the Southern or Grambling name and fame to hold on to. They donā€™t lose anything for getting destroyed. We on the other hand have historical names and moments on our side. Why allow the program who hated us for decades screw us for 1 day and give us a check? Are we supposed to tap dance and praise God just because they are finally cutting us negro institutions a check after cutting them to SLU, McNeese and other FCS PWI programs for decades? Hell no! Fuk their money! It isnā€™t worth it. We have to stop selling out of name and fame because the white man brainwashed us into believing that itā€™s the thing to do.


Whatā€™s sad is that their will be thousands of us in the stadium extremely happy that the white man has allowed us to come through his front door at LSU.

No sir. Itā€™s not just a football game. Itā€™s about history, pride, self respect and our name. I have heard a bunch of BS from my own Gramfam when it comes to justifying prostitution games to pay bills. If only we knew how to work together to create more revenue for each other instead of bending over. Itā€™s not just a football game. That ā€œitā€™s just a football gameā€ mentality is the reason why we struggle outside of our conference.
