Bruh I know you didn't just use the he had no experience excuse as it relates to hiring in upper management in professional sports. Not to mention every media outlet is saying he wasn't offered the going MARKET VALUE.

Again...that's the value they placed on him and he wisely turned it down. Plus working for a franchise where one player calls the shots and what happened to the last person makes you wonder was it just a token offer anyway.

The Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons have reportedly come to terms on a trade.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com, the Celtics have agreed to send Avery Bradley and a 2019 second round pick to the Pistons in exchange for veteran forward Marcus Morris.

With Boston having agreed to sign top free agent forward Gordon Hayward to a max contract, the Celtics were going to have to find trade partners for multiple players, including Bradley, in order to open up the necessary cap space to absorb Hayward's new four-year, $128 million deal and this appears to be the first of those dominoes to fall.

What does any of this have to with what you quoted me as saying?

The San Antonio Spurs have reportedly added another big body to their roster.

According to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports' The Vertical, the Spurs have come to terms on a deal with free agent center Joffrey Lauvergne.

While the terms of this agreement are not known at this time, one can only assume that the 25-year-old will be joining the Silver and Black for the veteran's minimum as he was less than spectacular during his brief stint with the Chicago Bulls to close the 2016-17 campaign.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope have agreed to a one-year, $18 million contract, sources told ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

Caldwell-Pope had a meeting with the team earlier Tuesday. The Detroit Pistonselected to make him an unrestricted free agent last week.

At age 24 and known as a strong defender, Caldwell-Pope was regarded as the top free agent on the market. The four-year veteran out of Georgia averaged 13.8 points and 3.3 rebounds for the Pistons last season.

The Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly added some more depth to their frontcourt.

Derrick Rose is headed to the Cleveland Cavaliers following a one-year trial run with the New York Knicks.

According to Shams Charania of The Vertical, Rose completed his physical and agreed to sign with the team Monday. ESPN's Chris Haynes reported the deal is for one year and $2.1 million.

"He just wants to focus on winning basketball games," Rose's agent, B.J. Armstrong, told Haynes when asked why he picked Cleveland. Rose is "looking at a potential starting spot," according to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com.
