Dooley and Todd, (who I think is a awful DC), both coached a poor game. Dooley made many bad chocies after getting the ball back from defensive stops and turnovers. I wonder how long the folks at Grambling are going to put up with Todd. This guy is not a real DC. If the SWAC had better DC's, Grambling wouldn't have been in the SWAC Title game.


Alcorn didn't impress, but they took everything Grambling gave them and capitalized like champions. Grambling looked like they came in to the game thinking the SWAC owed them a ring because of their name and what they have been through, but Alcorn came in hungry. Johnathan Williams might have given away any dream he had to play at the CFL or Arena level by throwing that awful pick 6 the cost GSU the game and momentum.


I don't see Alcorn beating A&T, but props to the Braves. Inspite of their regular season losses, they never stopped believing that they were the SWAC Champions.

You're a true hater dude......all types of records smashed but Alcorn wasn't impressive. You must have been in the band or sum.

Not sure the offensive game plan was that bad. They couldn't run on Alcorn but Grambling's receivers dropped a ton of oasses and the qb missed on a couple that could have gone for touchdowns. Alcorn did not make that many mistakes. I thought a few times Alcorn did not capitalize on Grambling's turnovers might come back to bite them but Grambling's inability to run on Alcorn made them one dimensional.

#79 was raising some sand out there. He went airborne on one play and it was not pretty.
 
congrats to Alcorn....alot of people don't know that Alcorn & A&M go waaaay back both being 1890 land grants....numerous alumni from both schools have either taught or graduated from both so we have traded scholars since 1890...another neat fact Alex Haley grew up on our campus and his dad taught here but Alex haley went to Alcorn to get away from home....

It's hate when we meet on the field but it's love after and our history shows that....again congrats on your back to back swac titles for 2014 2015

A hater? How and I have the Braves props for believing that they were the SWAC champions, capitalized on GSU's mistakes, and showed that they were a hungrier team? Don't get mad because I simply pointed out a flaw while you want to believe that your team looked perfect. Even Braveheart had a few negative post during the game. That doesn't make him a hater. Take it and man up.


And yes, I think that A&T beats Alcorn. There is something called defense that some of you forget about.

Bruh you do know that we play defense as well? A&T is already a one dimensional team they have a solid ground game no pass offense and a good defense. I'll take Alcorn For the bowl victory.

It takes hard work and determination to repeat as champions and the Braves have made an impactful validation in SWAC football.

Again, congratulations to Alcorn on your victory, and for becoming the 1st SWAC Eastern Division team to repeat as champions! A perfect end to a fabulous season!:)

Don't get it wrong.....Alcorn's defense is the main reason Grambling was turning over the ball. Their front line was pressuring the qb all day long!

I expect a good game between Alcorn and NCA&T
