Yeah, had we won homecoming, it would have been a bigger turnout. But still, sad to say the first home game for us is usually the biggest game especially when we play a school that alumni, students, and fans are familiar with. Sometimes a big MCC win might bring fans out to home games later in the season especially when we have been in the hunt for the SCG.

Unfortunately, everyone that I've talked to in the Ville were so disappointed after being up 34-14 that after the MCC, we would be fortunate to come anywhere close to about 5,000.

The good thing about Spady is that he went hard in recruiting locally and established a lot of needed rapport with coaches and potential student athletes, something that only few AAMU coaches have willingly done in the past. The response has been positive. So when he gets things turned around and the Bulldogs start winning again, I promise you our attendance will be consistent...

The NCAA don't have them listed yet (DII & DIII). I was curious to see what Delta State was doing in Mississippi but couldn't get a count on the NCAA site.

Our number includes a value of ZERO for the FAMU game. Supposedly, the attendance was 10,501 but it never got reported but our number is still divided 5 rather than 4.
