Re: 2013 SWAC signing day SCG predeitions
You sure used a lot of words, when all you had to say was no serious program uses a PART TIME AD that tells you in a nutshell what our school really think of sports :smh:
Mr GoodDoc, you're right. In a normal program, the HC is being paid to deliver. PV isn't a normal "program" because PV doesn't have any "programs." PV fields sports teams yearly but it doesn't have any semblance of a program in any sport (ala mens basketball for instance lol). What Mr Frazier did was work miracles, IMHO, while using hay-rope and barbed wire to put that former fball program together. Those pieces (talented kids) literally fell into PV's lap. What Heish inherited was actually a factual truthful visible display of where the program was (is) under the former regime. IMHO, Heish has worked a few miracles already because #1, he knew he had to change the mindset of the casual PV "fans." They're a school supporting apathetic, naive, and athletically ignorant bunch (collectively). I'd doubt 80+% of them could, at this very moment, name all of PV's games last fall and how bad (guesstimatd point of margin) each game may have potentially had. :read: And #2, he demands that he and his staff support ALL PV sports teams both financially and physically, as he wants the same from them as well for the fball program. 100% of PV's fball coaches support (present tense) the alleged venture to erect a new fball stadium. Too bad 1/10 of 1% of the alumni base cannot say the same. :smh:
IMHO, also, one of the BEST moves Heish could've made was to sign up for the game vs NDSU fall 2012. For you see, PV fans (collectively) seriously don't have an iota of common athletic sense to know what REAL division-I football looks like, sounds like, hits like, runs like, supported like lol, et al. NDSU totally outclasse(s/d) PVAMU on the gridiron and in the stands as well (support wise). Also, the game vs a 3rd yr program lol in Lamar University, who also kicked PV's ass up and down the field @ will to the tune of 31-0, also showed PV fans (collectively) where the state of the program is, currently. How else can one substantiate a 3rd year program skull dragging a team whose fielded football teams for 87+ years? lol
I'm sure some "excuses" for PV's dismal performance OOC vs NDSU and Lamar University fall 2012 will ensue shortly. I just can't WAIT to hear the one stupid excuse "but NDSU was the national champion last year." :retard: If anyone EVER pretended to be competitive in anything in life, one knows that one wouldn't ever make a stupidly dumb statement like that, ever, under zero circumstances.
