I feel you. The Boom's season just getting rolling. It must suck to feel like the best part of your schedule, bandwise, has peaked, lol!

SWAC dance routines have never really been exciting...not until some obese students runs onto the field and drops it low...ya'll know it's true :emlaugh:

But they CAN drill tho

You're right..... And it showed......LOL......Bottom line is this, JSU will continue to lose to TSU on the field until you guys become more creative with your halftime shows......Watching JSU show was like watching senior citizens perform.....OLD and TIRED...
 
TnSU had the better [overall] halftime show, it was entertaining so the they took the W there.
Now, in the stands the Boom took the W by far.
 
Hadn't been to SHC in probably more than 10 years. Interesting to see how TSU has better field shows these days. Back in the day, their field shows were BORING as hell, but they were some kind of serious in the stands.

Who really cares about TSU :sleeping:, they ain't Southern!
 
Tenn state is not in our conference so we did not care... they get hype for this game because they play a bunch of white schools. Meanwhile, we have to prepare for txsou and su so yea.
 
Naw man, that ain't how it works. I think JSU fans don't care sometimes but that's not how it works when you in the Boom. The Boom don't build there whole season around whose in conference or not. TnSU was always seen as a worthy opponent. Now Southern and Alcorn are our biggest rivalries, mainly Southern, but the Boom never overlooks the SHC or a band as good as TnSU. Large, small, good, or bad the motto was kill a gnat with a sledgehammer, lol! I guarantee you nobody in the Boom was like we don't care bout TSU. That game is always nationally televised and one of he biggest crowds of the year.

Now this is an intelligent response........however, it's on to the next opponent.
 
This is why I have no respect for the new band heads. When it is in your heart you get up for the school of the blind and deaf. It has to be in your heart from the beginning. You should always go after blood. Never thought I would see the day a real band head say we didn't get up because they are not in our conference. Amazing!!!! Oh well let me get back to ignoring this new school band folks. Just had to say something about that. Weak I tell you. Weak!!
 
Do they really just give out ignant juice at JSU or something? The truth of the matter is you would never hear the "We didn't get up for so and so" from cats from the 70's, 80's or early 90's. You would get clowned.

You are correct. That is why I made the statement, "I just had to say something. Usually I do not comment to you young folks". Personally I could care less about yall generation. Just keeping it real....... I don't even listen to bands any more. All of them suck to me and sound like hot garbage trying to live up to the hype. Thanks but i will pass on all HBCU bands.

The old days and the way we carried ourselves with that extra something in us ain't ever coming back. Not in our lifetime.

JR, nobody in the band made the statement that CEE make a comment about.
 
I told someone in another thread that they would be talking more about the halftime shows then the game. It never fails. And we wonder why HBCU football sucks.

There are like TWO TNState people on TSPN. We are discussing the game in the den. Unlike SU folks, we know what a private forum is for.
 
It was real MEACish of the BOOM to stand in place and play at the end of System of Survival. Must be the NSU guys idea. :smh: We don't stand in place in the SWAC during drills.
