The Jaycettes were okay. What I really liked was the balanced sound of the Boom. I know it was only Get Ready, but it was much better than what I heard last year.
 



That may be the 2011 jsettes but that band is the Freshmen because the upper classmen come 08/21/11, Thanks but next time can you focus of the band and the jsettes not just the settes! lol

Ok was one of the Jsettes hurt on crutches and she had to walk on crutches next to them smiling....oh my goodness.....I done liked to done fell out!!!!

Freshmen...no wonder the sound was balanced. They haven't been infected.

I dont know about infected but the Boom will be alot more BALANCED this year...with about 60+ trumpets.....they havent had this many since my crab year 2002...we took over the band....

Wow that's a lot of trumpets.......I guess as a trumpet player I always thought that was way too many trumpets unless you have a ton of lower brass. That makes you too top heavy. Of course I guess it depends if all 60 are blowing and how big the band is in reference to the size of the section. I look forward to seeing all the bands this fall.
 
Is the Sonic Boom merge happening this weekend? If so what time?

Anybody got any videos of the upperclassmen?
 
The Boom has not arrived on campus yet until Sunday 08/21,
Freshmen vs Upperclassmen is Sunday 08/21 time TBA

I am not commenting to any non boom affiliation!

Drum Major #5 needs work. Iv'e seen several threads where he looks really uncomfortable. He doesn't have that customary Sonic Boom DM "BOUNCE" either. Somebody tighten that crab DM up. Im not even BOOM and notice it. He appears to be struggling when I see clips with him in it. Peace.

Gotta love those people who follow the Jsettes....majority of the clips posted the day of the performance comes from them...
