I had my child when I was 19. I can tell you right now. Money or not; raising a child is no joke. Especially when you are a kid yourself.

Absolutely jstate83, I couldn't agree with you more. The point of the matter is that no one needs to be having kids unless they are fully aware of the the "LIFE TIME" committment. Money, yes it does help when it comes to raising a child, but moreso the love is what is priceless and being here for that boy/girl. Back in the day, during our grandparents time folks had kids at the average age of 15-16, but that was then and this is now. It is entirely too much going on in this world today for kids to be having kids, but I ask this questions though, what age should folks start having kids? Is it really about the age, or moreso the individuals mentality levels. B/c you can take a 27 year old, who isn't bit more ready for fatherhood than an 18 year old.

Hey the sin was that they had sex, not that the baby is being born out of wedlock. It's not a bad thing as far as providing for him is concerned....and as I said before...age does nothing to make someone a good parent.

My argument concerning this situation has nothing to do with morality. The problem I have is people on here glorifying this girl and LeBron. Talking about she hit the lotto. Is that the message we want to send to our young girls? Find you a rich NBA player who doesn't give a f--k about you and get pregnant so you can get a big check every month!!!!!

You guys can teach that to your children if you want too. I'll teach mine to be able to support herself and stand on her own 2 feet. Of course we want our children to be financially stable but I will never glorify in my daughter getting pregnant at 19 years old just because the dude is rich. That child still has to be raised!!!!

Some of the most disgusting parents are black athletes. A large number of them feel because of their status they can do and say as they please - only time will tell.

What the hell are you talking about? Did that article state this was some girl that LeBron didn't give a fugg about? No, it did NOT. It stated that it was his longtime girlfriend...hell, they grown. So what if we are stating the TRUTH...ole girl DID hit the lotto.

If ya fuggin, it's quite possible, sooner or later, somebody's coming up pregnant....now, if that's his longtime girlfriend...he ain't just started hittin' that. What's the big damn deal? These aren't the first 19, 20, 21 year olds to have babies, and they damn sure won't be the last.

Long term relationship? They are 19 and 20. So I guess they started dating when they were.......10!!!!!...Get lost with that long term relationship --it.

My problem is not them having a baby at 19 and 20 even though I don't recommend it. The only problem I have, like I said before, is people saying she hit the lotto. I guess you will tell your daughter, "baby go get you an NBA star and get pregnant so we can get paid."

So sad!!!!!
