Nemesis TV Series on Netflix (created by Courtney Kemp)

I first heard about it last week. Started watching an episode or two and got hooked. It has your typical Courtney Kemp drama but a nice balance of action with suspense. Also, if you are still a diehard fan of The Wire like myself, a lot of actors from that sitcom actually appear. Anyhow, a good watch for me and I'm not yet at the end (8 episodes).

The whole synopsis is centered around an overzealous cop who makes connections with a series of burglaries or heists to a crime that hits home with him personally.

I've shared before in other threads, whether good or bad, I love to see Blacks in positive non-stereotypical roles calling shots, bossing, and what not. Other than the crime element, I see positive things throughout each episode (Black people living lavishly).

An added plus unless I overlooked it, there are no forced agenda storylines in the episodes as well.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll get started on it this evening.

I binged watched the last couple of days. It was very entertaining. Courtney Kemp has improved.

Characters from The Wire:

Brother Mouzone, Brenda Barksdale, Detective Herc and Wee-bay's son Namon

Characters from Power:

U.S. Attorney Cooper Saks & Joe Proctor's mobster cousin Benny

There were also the actors who played Frank Sobotka, Randy Wagstaff and even though he didn't act, Michael (that was his image being used over and over again as Stiles partner that was killed).

I mistook Randy for Namon. Forgot about Sobotka, but he was in there.

They had a Wire reunion going on. Now I'm wondering what other characters I missed.
