Actually Gram did it with Doug Williams first. lol Let's not act like Doug Williams did not beat the shyt out of the whole SWAC at one point. That fat azz QB big Bruce was a beast. lol I mean Doug Williams is the first black QB to win a Super Bowl.

Kinda/Sorta but to be factual, Pete Richardson owned him. I think he was 1-7 vs Pete.

Not totally comparable to Doug who spent 4 years at a HBCU , majored in P.E. because he wanted to be a coach & Doug coached on all levels from HS to D1 to Pro ball as an assistant years before he came back to Gram. GSU was beating the crap out of the SWAC & everyone else decades before Doug so thats irrelevant. These celebrity coaches who would never ever dream of coming to an HBCU( beneath them) & made untold millions for "those folks U" are now back here arrogantly slumming for HC positions.

I see Gibson of UAPB landed in Oklahoma & Andrew Jones ( Gram) at S. Carolina. How much money do guys like this command? I don't care about the transfers really , but curious about the amount of money exchanged.

What the... ? The reason I don't follow this stuff too closely, but does anyone know any dollar amounts guys get like Jones & Gibson get?


My guy from Valley ,big QB #11 & Rembert .....I hope do well out there. Heard no updates on them

The goal would be to "exceed" Deion who lost 2 National Championship games. Whereas TC won a National Championship. But your point on AD and President/Administration buy in and leadership is a excellent point.

I believe that interest from former pros wanting to go a new route and HBCU’s giving them the chance. I don’t know who contacted whom between JSU and Prime, it probably was Prime starting the conversation, no shade on JSU.
