Certainly hope he does but I don't think he is adjusted for the HC leadership position.

Having an x-nfl guy at the helm doesn't mean shit. Ain't that right PV's Bubba McDowell? 
PV got trounced w/ the x-nfl guy as HC fall 2022 by an IC team w/ 35 scholarships (kudos to Valley), OOC by a school which started its fball team only 6-7 years ago (iwu), and also OOC by a team which has been D-1 fcs for all of 4-5 years (abilene christian).
PV has fielded fball teams for 101 years and is nowhere close to championship caliber.

Plus at least Ed Reed has some college experience albeit not as a position coach (3 years) so although he didn't wanna be a position coach either, at least he can sharpen his coaching teeth at BCU with some knowledge of how the current college game works.
And he has a built in advantage of Daytona Beach lol

Just because a player play(s/ed) nfl doesn't automatically translate him being ready for the leadership position of HC d-1. I've watched the nfl for the last 4 decades; certainly never ready for a HC position lol.
