ESPN's College Gameday will be in Jackson this Saturday

College Gameday’s tv ratings have been on the rise all season long. They’ve been averaging over 2 million viewers per episode this year which is way better than they did in 2021. Good to see that the #HBCU destination kept viewers interested and engaged as well.
Their views been going up b/c they been more inclusive of HBCU football (mainly JSU). Interesting college football is being played outside the Power 5 so it's time they acknowledge it more often.

It's true to Var. He will lie till he die when it comes to Ess U lol.

JACKSON – Jackson State University generated two back-to-back winning weekends for the city of Jackson as the university celebrated its 2022 Homecoming and BoomBox Classic football home games. Visit Jackson officials estimate an economic impact to the city of $8.9 million and $4.4 million respectively for the JSU events.

Right. They reported a 33 million dollar impact last year (so you know it was more). I'm sure this season will be around the same when you factor in the other two home games and the SCG.
Public officials cannot have their head stuck up their ass so much not to see the HUGE financial impact JSU football has on the city. The pending SCG hosted in JXN will also produce a financial windfall as well.

If the game vs Alcorn St was hosted in JXN this year, man.... smh Cha-ching X 5 for Hinds county.
