This morning, I was sitting at the bus stop with my kids. A few minutes after I pulled up, a truck pulls up with maryland delegate tags and parks next to me. I look over and see Jay Walker. I wave and he waves back. His son goes to the same school with my kids. Hopefully I get a chance to talk to him about SWAC football. I want to ask him why he hates on Grambling and the SWAC as a whole? Should be an interesting conversation.
 
He's a MEAC homer (Tiff does a much better job at keeping her under control which is why she can slide into other sports seamlessly on ESPN). I've just got used to it. He's arrogant but he's also a HBCU advocate so you have to take the good with the bad

Unfortunately, Jay Walker’s record of picking the SWAC to lose to the MEAC in Challenge Games and Celebration Bowls has been spot on. We continue to prove him right about who is more physical. It sucks, but it’s true. We need to start winning those games! We have proven to win games vs MEAC opponents, but we are known for laying an egg when the ABC and ESPN cameras are rolling! It definitely seems like Jay is hating, but we prove him to be correct way too often.

At the end of the day, the SWAC needs to shut Jay Walker up by beating the MEAC on a consistent basis. Especially in the Challenge Game and Celebration Bowl. Points out our extremely limited wins vs the MEAC in the past 20 years doesn’t carry weight. Jay Walker, (hate him or hate him), has been right about the MEAC being more physical than the SWAC. We need to change that and now is definitely the time. We need more SWAC Challenge Games than look like PV vs NCCU 2018!

Jay was definitely wrong about PV in that one and it felt good to witness, but he was right in the other one.
