Clarion Ledger SWAC football rankings: Week 0


Stop disrepecting TSU /Texas Southern Football. We are in the biggest footprint in the conference, We have access to the most players within a 250 mile radius, we have a good coach. We are going to turn this around and run this conference like we run Basketball. I understand but Stop it. I am not kidding. Sometime i just be picking at yall , JSU.
 



.........and we wonder why some "writers" opinions are never sought or they'll never get a vote in the Heisman balloting. There is definitely a difference in an accomplished SPORTS JOURNALIST and a 2-bit home cooking neophyte writer.

The WHOLE ESPN COLLEGE GAMEDAY CREW (who have Heisman votes) picked Alcorn to win AND Vegas had them a 15-point favorite. At SWAC Media Day, Alcorn had more first-place votes than any school in the SWAC. So why are you being so harsh and unreasonable for no reason?
 
McNair pissed the bed. The first half they mixed the pass and the run. Their QB was turning the ball over and making mistakes. Yet in the second half they put it all in his hands. The goal is to win not to make your players look good.
