It’s going to be an interesting emotional season. In football, I’m liking the direction of the whole conference. I see improved personnel among the teams which should lead to some excellent matchups. I look forward to the fall 2021 season.

Yea there's no excuse now for teams not to be stacked.

You ask Maynor this same question about the stars he recruited?
That is always my question on any transfer. I am skeptical until I see them play. They are transfers for a reason; thay did not beat out anyone where they were for playing time as a starter or main back-up. As Nick Saban said, no one who gets playing time hits the portal. That's why I look to see if they are in the portal because of lack of talent for the FBS level or for person reasons despite getting lot of time on the field. For example, that running back PV got from Texas A&M was either starting or got played as much as a first teamer. Therefore, I know he was good enough to play at that level and he will be a monster in our league if he comes to play.

I have a lot of anticipation also. Everybody in the East has the ability to put tough competition on the field every week. Valley is not looked at just as a competitive team that usually loses in the end, but as a team that is going to beat some people in games that matter. There is no back door to divisional championship this year.

I’ve maintained whoever comes out of each division is more than likely gonna come out with 2 SWAC losses. Anyone finishing with one loss in conference play should be an FCS Top 15 team

We got some players that started though so we already know they can ball.

Valley will upset some teams if that Qb pans out. They got everything else they need to win

Yep. I don't think anyone will go undefeated in league play, and it is likely to be multiple losses. The tie breakers will be in full play this year.

I think we addressed our weaknesses and increased our strengths. The best transfer we got was the DEFENSIVE LINE COACH! Now our defensive coordinator can have a clear focus on what is needed to be competitive on the defensive side of the ball. Hopefully, we can win 2 or 3 games this year...

True.

We ain’t got nothing though.

Your lines on both sides of the ball is what separated y'all from most of the pack. Looking forward to seeing how the new coach performs. I do hear he's only temporary though and y'all will be following in the footsteps of hiring a faux coach Prime in December 😆

That was Alcorn St who got the txa&m RB.

If that’s so, let it be Ryan Clark.
