NCAA is one step closer to allowing student athletes to be paid for their likeness and endorsements

Now do you think we can get our NCAA game back

That might not happen for a couple of years due to more discussions. That was broken down on Twitter earlier this morning. This will happen first before games can come back

One thing-if a THIRD party is doing all of this and not the college. You still have the options of abuse.

How this benefit a kids at schools like HBCU, Depaul, and lower tier colleges?

Okay lets talk video games-are we SERIOUSLY going to think 2ksports or EA sport is going to pay for likenesses or listing of names of kids at HBCUS?

Go through those rosters on the NBA teams especially legend teams. or better yet the 80-90 teams. The Bulls were missing I think Cliff Levingston and Craig Hodges and Cory Williams on some of those teams. Even some of the NBA/Team records were missing names.

Now you giving players more options to control their likeness-It's going to be all about building your brand and we all know what that means.

We already know how they bash HBCUs during non-conference games and those losing records will be used to sway kids and now this will make it worst.

And this is not limited to HBCUs. North Dakota, South Dakota, Northeast Confernece and others are in the same boat.

Think locally. An alumni owned local business would definitely use a player from SU or Grambling or NDSU.

this forces to put our money where our mouth is now.

Man forget that game... I remember when they had the HBCU teams as playable, but would give us real low ratings.

I would basically cut the dead weight For more scholarships in year 1 and recruited heavily as in the later versions (07-08) if you went max recruit you could get 5 stars. By the second year it was hard to do so.

In the early early versions you basically competed against other HBCUs and they had the heritage bowl plus our own stadiums or you could change the games to classic locations

That's the first thing that came to mind. Within a 3-5 mile radius of Valley, you have Double Quick (popular local convenience store chain), 2 popular catfish companies, Cannon (which owns car lots from Oxford to Jackson), Pepsi and a number of other local businesses that could pay for a player to do local spots especially if they get on a title run

What money, most of our HBCU's fighting to keep their doors open! This is for the big boys to keep the slaves coming to P-5 massa! They do not want them coming to HBCU's to level the playing field!
