Has to be the most racist movies that I have ever seen.

How you whip monkeys? smh

Cacs aint sh1t

As a black man/person, you should be 'woke' after seeing this movie smh.

These cacs are telling you what is about to happen or what they are trying to do.

Wow. Lol

Don't pay your money to watch this racist sh1t

watch it on bootleg, of the fire-stick

smh Lol boy cacs aint sh1t. crazy

Well I enjoyed this "movie". Great closure to a trilogy.

You knew what it was before you watched it. Why subject yourself to something that already showed you the contents before?

But I enjoyed the "movie".

How would one know what the movie was about when one never seen a planet of the apes movie?

Glad you enjoyed it breh

So you went to watch a movie without knowing what it was based on? Especially if there were two other movies before this one and they are all connected?!

Wait you have NEVER seen a Planet of the Apes movie? Not even the old ones?

I'm not too fond of the new ones...I'm a old movie cult classic guy. The old ones never explained really how the apes came to power or how humans became a lower level species.

Nah breh, never seen one

Doing some research just now about the franchise, just found out that the original creator/director made the 1st one off of race

The LA riots

This movie gives you what the old ones didn't as to how the apes came to power and humans became a lower species. It didn't lead straight into the old ones but it gave you the foundation of the storyline.

I can do you one better on your research. MLK was killed right after the release of the original movie.

Why were there apes in the movie lynched and hung?

Who do you think the apes represent?

Were there an equal amount of black humans as white humans in the movie, hell were there any black humans Lol?

I can do this with so many movies that you may have never even heard of. It's a movie. It's a movie. It's a movie.

You saying this but didn't go out and vote. TF?! And look what we have going on in this nation now. Damn Pres ain't even going to speak at the NAACP convention. Even Bush spoke at that. Where is the outcry for that?

Once again, it's a movie.

Oh ok,

Deflect when you can't answer the question, Gotcha

Did you see where it stated on the poster and in the movie, "The only good ape is a dead ape"

Isn't that a saying that cacs used towards blacks, "The only good n****r, is a dead n****r" ??????

Who are the apes in this movie portraying?

Didn't they have an ape in the movie that was characterized as a "hip-hop" ape

LOL

Aye breh, you enjoyed the movie that's all that matters.

I looked at the movie in a different lens than you did breh.

No harm, I just spoke my opinion about the movie and stated what the original director got his idea from

Continue to think that it's just a movie and there are no messages in these 'movies'

The ppl who made the old planet of the apes made it about race.

The writers and directors said that it was about race.

Let me give you some receipts

1972

Jay Lee Thompson

He got the idea from the 1965 riots, (I said LA Riots) but it was 1965,

Google him, the director and see where the planets of the apes came from

Rob Sterling

He wanted it to be associated with the civil right movement

Paul Dehn

Look him up. He equated black ppl with the apes, He wrote one of the movies

LOL

They did this in the second transformers movie. They even did it in the childrens Trolls movie. Even watching The Lion King, what do you think the "forbidden elephant graveyard" represented? Who were the hyenas representing?

I mean I can go on and on and on and on with so many movies it's a shame. But it's movies. Nothing I can change myself.

But going out and being active in my community, I can do that and I can help make a change that way.

I already know all of this. That's why I gave you the tidbit on MLK. He was killed not even a full two months after the original movie came out.

That's all that matters breh,

I was, again, pointing out how the movie was racist to me.

In the end the apes were the winners correct? In the final planet of the apes from back in the day the Apes actually ended up being the intellectual teachers.

@Bighead

As far as deflecting I don't. To each is own...

I never liked the old planet of the apes movies. I never got into star trek either. Then again I never got into watching porn movies either. Lol

Why were there apes in the movie lynched and hung?

They were no apes in the movie hung, they were crucified. They were crucified so that they would die slower and serve as a message to the other apes.

Who do you think the apes represent?
No one. There best part about the story is how the apes aren't really the focus. The real story is a renegade military unit trying to force there own rules.

Were there an equal amount of black humans as white humans in the movie, hell were there any black humans Lol?
Yeah, it was. But the movies take place in the woods in California. There are not a lot of black people there now.

Yeah, it was. But the movies take place in the woods in California. There are not a lot of black people there now.

The directors, one of the 3 I named, stated that the apes represented the black race, you can google what he stated.

Breh most of those humans were "white" hell the leader was Woody Harrison Lol.

But yall can shoot down the talking points I made, no worries, I was just stating what I thought and also what a lot other folks have been saying about the movie.
