Second-year coach Montez Robinson is making Alcorn State relevant again

I'm sorry to bust you bubble but Alcorn's stuff is paid for. Ask the IHL. JSU, well we know checks have bounced.. lmao
Dude, Alcorn had serious financial issues long before JSU did. Ask Betty Roberts.
Just in case you forgot, the article below should refresh your memory.
I won't post the many past penalties imposed on Alcorn by the NCAA for playing ineligible players, giving players financial aid who weren't qualified and for lack of institutional control. I could go on and on, but no need to keep beating the Alcorn's dead horse.

Alcorn's finances being investigated; CFO resigns
LORMAN — Alcorn State University’s chief financial officer has resigned amid an investigation of alleged financial problems at the school.

Mississippi Higher Education Commissioner Hank Bounds tells The Natchez Democrat that Betty Roberts resigned yesterday.

Bounds says in a statement that his office has received reports of financial discrepancies and the College Boards staff is reviewing those reports.

Again, we only averaged one starter all year... LUCKY YOU! You got a pass this year cause you wasn't that good.

What about two previous yeas we won the SWAC. I'll tell you what, we are returning 4 out of 5 starters with a 7' center sitting out. We'll get together next year and do it all over again when JSU is healthy. How about that?

Man, please. You're cupped with lawsuits, millions funneled to the point of operations stopping?? The only thing that was stated was bids not done! Explain the millions y'all missing??

But again Congratulations Coach! Job well done!

Alcorn got NATIONAL attention for it's APR issues. That was an embarrassment for the SWAC having one team eligible for the NCAA tournament and the other one not eligible. Had Alcorn won, that would've been even more of an embarrassment to the conference.

Dude, your whole dept was in trouble a in 2012. Let's not forget huh.

Have operations stopped? No and won't.
Fact of the matter is, JSU at it's lowest is still more preferable by most students than Alcorn will ever be. This isn't even debatable.

In all honesty why don't you goys take this non sense BS to another thread. Believe me the state on MS wants all three HBCUs closed so they can move that money to the three HWCU and that is not hard to see. Finically all three have their challenges, some maybe more than others. But we want to sit here and debate over a $2.00 difference.

I remember the day they hired Coach Robinson I was pissed. Me and a lot more have had to eat every word. The guy is a pretty good coach.;)

We will miss Vance, Davis and Dulin next year but he has a few good looking recruits already signed.

We will be freed of Luther Riley's mess next year. :)

Bruh, I'm glad all of them are graduating....lol. Can you all graduate Johnson in the summer....lol. Jokes aside, your team showed up to play all three times they played our team. Thanks for helping make our guys a better team. They had to play harder and dig a little deeper each time to beat you all.

You have supreme debating skills. Your arguments are so rooted in fact, and your mastery of subject-verb agreement is unprecedented. Above all of those qualities you are able to channel your inner pre-adolescent self. e.g. "We paid CASH". "Cash reserves were low". "Cash reserves WERE/ARE low?" "So solvency that....."
Bravo TP! Bravo!

We have enough cash reserves to buy Alcorn.
