How's crank fest

I'm a JSU fan but have friends that's SU and they was like it was a good battle tbh really couldn't say a winner

Southern and Grambling rode high on the Bayou Classic in the beginning. It appears that the Bayou Classic has gotten back to that level again. Besides the Texas schools, New Orleans is pretty much the exposure spot for the other SWAC schools, especially Louisiana and Mississippi schools. I'm sure the Alabama schools try to gain some exposure in Atlanta.

Just gone say I tried to told em lol.

The funniest part was then SU folk tried to clown the Boom for messing up on a song then they turned around and messed up. One dude from SU just sat down and shut up lmao.

Overall it was a great battle. Top two bands period. Neither band out did the other. Both messed up but no band is perfect. The real winners are the fans. Ain't no other bands on the same level. Period.

We can go back and forth about who won ... Blah Blah.. But one thing after tonight. SU AND JSU are the two best bands in all of HBCU..
Yep, two heavyweights. I will say if I was in the current Boom I'd be highly pissed at the director for that screw up. He counted the song off wrong, and tried to cutoff at the last second. Too late!! He made them look horrible on that point. They recovered, but without that you have an outstanding night. I'd be looking at him with the side-eye all week, lol. How the director gone cause the major mishap?

Shat was one-sided, smh

I keep telling you bozos JSU hasn't done anything worth talking about in this battle since 2010.. SU played something from 2011 and it pissed on dayum near 95% of what JSU played that night..

Let me guess..we gotta wait until BoomBox Classic..Lol..

This wasn't the best battle outta the series, but SU shitted on this band...only thing JSU was worthy of getting a replay on was the song Whip Appeal and that sounded like something a middle school band could play..

Only difference with this battle and Dega is JSU name..it was just about the same as how SU did dega to be honest

I wouldn't even say that, it's SU and everybody else..Hell I'm more waiting on the Alcorn battle..JSU just don't have it any more to me..other than JSU folks hyping them up..each and every year..it's really been Meh every time these bands battle...with SU str8 smashing sh1t..

But those who say SU and JSU are the 2 best to me are clearly saying that with a grain of thinking of the old JSU..cuz from 2011 and now JSU hasn't done anything..Alcorn is on their way to claim number 2 IMO..

Man even that JSU rock the house was lackluster as fuk LMAOO..

Man you JSU followers, yall need to hug yall band....that was terrible..

I guess breh if you wanna call what your band program is doing is right, then your program is really in trouble...

And i guess I'm suppose to listen to YOUR opinion and go with that huh? Lmao. Bruh give it up. If you don't like the Boom, I'm sorry (not sorry) cuz thats nobody problem but yours lol. We love our program boss and anybody that don't can kick rocks.

Now back to the thread.

Great job Both bands. Im ready for Oct. 15th.

Su band has truly gone down hill. They've over blown so long that there fans think that is what defines a spectacular marching band and da shit just doesn't thrill no one but SU fans anymore. JSU came in, smashed and went home. Haymar has done a great job sinking the jukebox. Congrats boom
