Could FedEx deliver Memphis to the Big 12?

I like them where they are to be honest. I know they dont have as much OLD MONEY but the American Conference probably played the MOST exciting brand of football in the nation last year!

They just need to snatch up BYU, Memphis, Cincy, and Air Force/Colorado State. BYU not being to play on Sunday shouldn't be that big of a deal.

The Big 12 is dying on the vine. It was just announced today that the biggest conference game (OU/TX) is moving from ABC to FSN1.

I saw this last night.

Damn shame the others schools don't have the cahones to stand up to Texas and would rather let the conference die off

I would not have predicted this a day or two ago but maybe I should have.

The future of the conference is in doubt.

Texas-OU game to be televised by FS1 this season

By Mike Finger Updated 3:05 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2016

AUSTIN - The Red River rivalry is moving to cable.

After spending most of the past two decades on ABC and much of its history on over-the-air network television, the annual Texas-Oklahoma football game at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas will be broadcast by Fox Sports 1 this October, the Big 12 announced Wednesday.

Fox/FS1, which shares the conference's top-tier broadcast rights with ABC/ESPN, had the first choice of Big 12 games for this Oct. 8, and picked UT-OU. But even though FS1 has made a push in recent years to be a major player in college sports, the move from ABC likely ensures this year's Longhorns-Sooners game will be seen by fewer people.

…..

Now with the Big 12 voting to have a championship game beginning in 2017, have to think they're going to try to move to get 2 more teams at least.
