Ranking SWAC Football Programs

Not even going as far as the championships but if JSU win the EAST (and Alcorn also has a winning season) I would say:
Jackson St.
(7 Winning Seasons, 3 Losing Seasons, 4 Division Champs, 0 SWAC Champs)
is close to about even with....
Alcorn
(5 Winning Seasons, 5 Losing Seasons, 2 Division Champs, 2 SWAC Champs)
But I would still put JSU higher.. especially since we also own them head to head.

If Alcorn win the EAST (and JSU has a winning season)...
(7 Winning Seasons, 3 Losing Seasons, 3 Division Champs, 0 SWAC Champs)
That would NOT trump....
Alcorn
(6 Winning Seasons, 4 Losing Seasons, 2 Division Champs, 2 SWAC Champs)
 
hell, if you talkin about JUST the last two years, I would want JSU to trade places with a LOT of teams... lol
But let's also remember that Alcorn dayum near went 0-2 vs JSU in the last 2 years.
THIS year will be fun.
 
..and y'all get shit REAL twisted. I even go as far as donating money to Alcorn. I have family with scholarships and foundations out there. My grandmother has a yearly scholarship out there.
I have no ill will toward Alcorn. I just don't think that a lil school like that should ever be able to compete with us.

Now the BAMAs is a different story. I just don't like them. lol

Look he just said that last week after saying that there is no team in the SWAC that has done better than JSU in the last 10 years. Stop speaking up for TigerPride....let him explain himself. LOL

And while running through the SWAC en route to their championship in 2006, we whooped their azz that same year. In fact, I think we whooped several soon to be SWAC champs azz a few years w/ JSU included in that #. THAT is when I knew it was only a matter of time before PV would win a SWAC title. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So according to this methodology Golden State Warriors would still suck as a franchise.

History is nice but we are in the generation next society. Today in sports even 5 years ago means nothing and Winning now is everything. No-one cares who won the title 10 years ago. How many recruits are going to Alcorn now because Steve McNair went there? He'll how many freshmen now even know who McNair is? People now can't even remember the phone numbers if the 5 people they talk to most frequently, and you think anyone cares about SWAC football 10 years ago? These topice are just an interesting way to burn the summer til the season starts and nothing more.

Grambling should be at or near the bottom for their antics in 2013. But seriously, this is a good, objective list.

The best thing to do, however, would be to weight each win. Obviously, the SCG gets weighted higher. Then conference games after that. Then out of conference FCS, then out of conference D2's, NAIA's and so forth.
