2015 FCS Playoffs Attendance

I guess it is a fair question, but I hate that this question has to be asked about "us" when it comes to events like this. Now, I may be in the minority for thinking this, but you can't convince me that folks come to an event like this SIMPLY because of a concert. And if for some reason there are, it ain't many. The concerts after the game may add value to a ticket, but I just can't imagine people buying a ticket simply because of it. When I learned R. Kelley cancelled, I simply didn't care.

But that's just me.

Had they invited Big Pokey and the Louisiana boys they would be there.

Uh had every local station hyping this game up with reporters reporting live outside of the stadium Friday. They tried hard to sell that stadium out.
Coming from the media parking lot, heading into the stadium, I ran into a photographer who left the AAC to cover the SCG.

There were people who decided not to go because R Kelly cancelled. I heard a woman call the radio station asking "Is the R Kelly concert cancelled?"

Yeah I think their record is 2-2 against them
Nall its worst than that. Lol they use to kick our in D2. Lol When we came in the SWAC the games were closer. Cooper was handling thrm, but Jones slipped. The problem came between us when we dropped them for a TNSU game and its been bad blood between the school's since then.

Yeah my bad. I was thinking in terms of since ya'll join the swac. But I see it's 1-4

It's still a great game for us to play

Now that's a team swac schools should play more often.
Interesting, considering a couple of months ago, I posted that Jacksonville St has brought more fans to ASU's stadium than any Swac school, but somebody was hellbent on disputing that.

But I digress....

Until I watched that game Friday, I didnt know Jacksonville was ranked #1

My basis for making that observation is base on their talent level and proximity to swac schools

And yes you tend to do that quite often.

This year's Jax State team would embarrass anyone in the SWAC. They're loaded with FBS transfers and their QB could probably play in the SEC.

The SHSU game was head-to-head vs tx hs playoffs @ nrg regarding attendance. I wanted to check out the playoff game but opted to watch younger cousins do their thing @ nrg.

What he said.....add to the fact that the field hands usually have their way with us too when we played, even when we moved up. I can never forget that game where we were up with a few minutes left and yellow flags literally marched them down the field to win in the last second. Their fans had know shame in admitting that to us.....

But giving respect where respect is due, Jax State used kick the ___ of 90% of the teams they played in D2. They have had a lot of consistency in administration and they have done a good job of selling and marketing their program in the area.

Whenever we played them at home, attendance was guaranteed to be over 12,000. When we played them at their home, it was closer to 15,000 or higher which was why their AD Jim Fuller was upset with us dropping them for Tennessee State.

Eli Jenkins wanted to attend and play at Bama State. Barlow had already secured Duhart and didn't want to sign a 2nd QB. Big mistake!
