For good reason I made that point. It was said that Alcorn owns Louisiana, and our face to face match ups show that is far from the truth.

Anyway, you are the well deserves SWAC Champions and have been awarded the last laugh. We spoiled your homecoming this year, and you spoiled our dreams of adding another SWAC title to our case. Congradulations. I told y'all that Hopson was going to deliver the day he was hired and he is. Beat A&T.
 



Some of yall are truly petty when something goes well not involving your institution. I sat on Grambling's side yesterday and by midway through the 2nd quarter the entire 1st level was filled. By half time, there were folks sitting on the second level, but it was spotty. Most of the pics floating around are from 1st quarter or early second quarter. It took about 20 to 30 minutes to get into the game yesterday and you already know folks don't arrive on time. Why cant we all just be happy it was another good showing for the SWAC?

This was more like the 1st qtr. We only had like 76 yards rushing so our 2nd offensive drive brought that on. We had well over 100 yds rushing before the end of the 1st qtr.

Ragsdale had 147 yards in the 1st quarter by himself.
 
I believe this was after half time, the teams were warming up and people were making their way back to their seats. I believe the 40k is accurate.

Nope that is not before halftime, this is at halfime.....check out the number of GSU fans in the background which is the side of the field that the pic you posted.

HATING AZZ folkS I TELL YA, Nice job #Gramfam and Alcorn. Congrats to Alcorn and i'm sure you will beat the hell out of A&T. BTW if one didn't attend the game in person how in the hell would they remotely have a clue of knowing anything about attendance? smh

Exactly!! I had to tell a friend from _____ that same thing. Im like folks was outside still tailgate and getting through security check. Folks texting (childish HATER) talking about attendance early in the first quarter. Knowing damn well BLACK FOLKS DONT SHOW UP IN TIME

I heard nothing else once the bowl started filling up!! Besides perhaps if your fans would have arrived on time the outcome would be different. I just moved past that bullshi*. People are silly and their team has not been to a championship since 1900

Congrats Alcorn Braves on your repeat championship. Really happy for former Hornets Coaches Fred Kaiss and Shannon Harris. Hope y'all can hold onto Coach Hopson. He's a good coach.

Unless NCAT can find them some offense, they are going to lose to Alcorn. They might hold us to 28 points but they might not score 21.
 
Its kinda weird that people are trying to downgrade the attendance with all the pictures taken before the game started and before halftime. If you were not present at the game to endure the excessive long lines (due to short NRG staffing), you really shouldn't be commenting on the attendance. I know all these pictures came from ignorant/hating people on Facebook, who came to the game to spy and nit pick at anything they could find on Alcorn/Grambling. In Grambling's defense, yes they did eventually fill in their bottom level with spotty 2nd level people. Alcorn was deep….no question.
 
I went both times. They didn't open the gates until 1:30 p.m. and the game started at 3:00. They opened up 1 gate on our side and had 2 lines. The workers had to share a ticket scanner because 1 of them was broke. A lot of people stayed at the tailgates until the last minute thinking it was going to be a breeze getting in and were disappointed and late getting to their seats
 
Man it was horrible yesterday, I been to the Bayou Classic with 60k folks and State Fair Classic with 50k, and didn't have to wait that long to get in. NRG was wrong for that crap, they had only 2 gates on Alcorn side checking bags. They man sent me to the front saying he had 15 gates open but only 3 lines checking bags
