The Best Case Attendence Scenerio for the SCG and Celebration Bowl is Happening.

The Clown Prince of Crime
The Best Case Scenerio: It be November 1st, 2015 and the Alcorn vs. JSU and Bayou Classic are pretty much made irrelevant.

SCG - we pretty know that unless something drastic happens that it will Alcorn vs. Grambling in Houston for the SCG. This is good for Attendence, especially now that it is November 1st. Both fanbases can now start to tentatively plan and prepare for Houston with One Month's notice. It may hurt the Bayou Classic and Alcorn vs. JSU Attendence but Oh Well....some necessary sacrifices must be made.

Celebration Bowl - Again, unless something drastic happens it will be NC A&T to represent the MEAC and Alcorn or Grambling for the SWAC. This again can favor Attendence because all fanbases will have at least a month's notice to make tentative travel arrangements.

My Conclusion: Attendence is looking favorable for the SCG and Celebration Bowl. But if you value the Bayou Classic and Alcorn vs. JSU, you move them earlier in the season to have favorable Attendence. You have to sacrifice something for a bigger gain and in this case, the Bayou Classic and Alcorn vs. JSU Attendence will more than likely be sacrificed for the SCG and Celebration Bowl.

Both the Bayou Classic and JSU vs Alcorn will be fine. You forget these are in state rivalries and also bragging rights for each of these schools. Let alone a game for each of these schools to get together and have a good time as always for the last 60-70 years. Every school you named doesnt only have fans in surrounding areas of the schools, you do know that right being you supposedly went to Alcorn? Lol. Fans come from all over the US to these games. BH, come down to earth sometimes bro. Reality is a bih for you I see.

I am in reality. The Reality is that some people think the regular human is going to spend back to back weekends in Mississippi/New Orleans (especially during Thanksgiving Weekend) one week, Houston the next weekend and then two weeks later go to ATL.

The Bayou Classic and Alcorn vs. JSU can be sacrificed. Keep in mind Alcorn vs. JSU this year is JSU's Home Game. It would have actually been more beneficial to play it on that open date both teams had in October.

Lol. I think the BC will be okay but lets be real. Alotta folks who were going to see the Scg on the line will now watch the BC on tv. I know several people who have said so on yesterday. BH is kinda crazy but He is not far off at all with his take on the BC. If the Scg is on the line that dome would be packed like in 2003. Its not on the line unless We lose to Tsu.

Truth is You cant tell Black People how to spend their money. I already got my Bayou Classic tickets so Im going regardless but its alotta folks who decided on yesterday after Su lost they were staying home this year and going to Houston. Its ok.

Truth is.....They are not going to New Orleans to spend money on hotels and then turn around and go to Houston to spend more money for the Scg. I am but thats me. I plan on going to Atl if We win the Scg.

You do know that the SCG and the CB are not whole heartedly depended on the teams involved to carry the attendance. I know a lot of folkfs that are already planning to attend both games even though their school may not be in either of the games. That's what they are depending on. That's how the pre-sale tickets are going right now and what it should depend on.

I see you just wanted to open a thread even if it didn't make sense. The bayou classic will be well attended period. It's an in state game, on top of SU has had more fans there even when they didn't attend the SCG on top of GSU fans will even have more reason to go this year because they are just excited to have there program back !!!

The two schools you have going to the SCG don't have that much effect on the bayou classic nor the soul bowl game in Jackson anyway !!!

The JSU vs Alcorn game will be ok as well for what it is. Around 25,000 is what I'm expecting due to three factors . 1. Some JSU fans have said they are going to just enjoy the tailgating for this game because they are ready for the season to be over so we can get this coaching search going ! 2. This is the last game for most JSU fans so they will come Winning season or not !!! 3. This is JSU home game and there is nothing to do in Jackson, so why not come on to the game. After all it still is against our in state hbcu rival !!

As for the SCG, my family going because of the atmosphere we enjoy so much and we JSU fans . On top of R Kelly will be there so asu nor Gsu will really matter as far as attendance. It might be 20,000 there just for R Kelly. His personal concert tickets can be up toward $100 but there $15 for the game !!!

Interesting... Why such passion to move the Bayou Classic?

Because folks want Grambling vs Sourhern but don't want to kill tradition for the survival of the game. I want the Bayou Classic to succeed but like all businesses changes must come.

I also find it strange that we as black people like to brag about filling up Louisiana Tech's Stadium but do not see that filling up each other's own stadiums on campus keeps a majority of the money in the HBCU Market.

50,000 in Robinson and 50,000 in Mumford would do wonders for HBCU Football.

Ummmm you do realize white schools do not have what we (HBCUs) traditionally call a "visitor's side" right? They have a "Visitor's Section" and sell tickets around the entire stadium. Yes there were a number of people at the La. Tech v. SU game because it was something new. People ( white and black) love something new and different.

When GSU played Tech in Shreveport I think we had more people in attendance than ANY Independence Bowl game. It was something we as Lincoln Parish has never seen. Even with the ULM game it was something different.

Umm where would 50,000 people sit in Robinson Stadium?

It would do wonders for the laws of physics also.

Playing Grambling in Mumford and SU going to Robinson would keep the Bayou Classic (or the Bayou Bowl) Alive. You may brush me off now but if you all keep it where it is, it will continue to suffer.

Let's Be Real: People can go to New Orleans and not go to the Bayou Classic.

I will not take anything you say seriously if you really believe either stadium can hold 50K.
