Those #s by their QB though.... 20+ yard completion avg (20 cmps) lol on only 33 pass atts. smh Pitiful. Statistically speaking, our defense made Williams look like Tom Brady lol.

I know he could have closed his eyes and completed some of those passes, but I would say he looked like Rogers against my Chiefs last night, ugh

Carter named FCS STATS National Player of the Week

Grambling State return specialist Martez Carter has been named the FCS STATS Special Teams Player of the Week.

The SWAC boasts five kick returners whose averages rank in the Top 25 of the FCS and leading the way is Carter. The Monroe, La. native returned two kickoffs for touchdowns in Grambling’s 70-54 win over Prairie View A&M at the annual State Fair Classic in Dallas.

He scored on an 88-yarder in the first quarter, and then after Prairie View closed with 56-48 with 3:46 left to play, Carter returned the ensuing kickoff 100 yards from his end zone to seal the win. He also scored touchdowns on a run and a reception, finishing with 285 all-purpose yards, including 200 on three kickoff returns and 37 on one punt return.
