Terron Armstead some day among 'best of all-time?

Not with the Aints. Maybe after he becomes a cap casualty and goes somewhere else.

Well I posted this as a feel good story to show that even if you come from the SWAC you can still have success in the NFL. From the information I’m getting out of Training Camp the Saints first round draft choice Andrus Peat who played left tackle at Sanford is struggling. My thought process was the Saints drafted Peat to take Terron spot at LT. From all indications, Peat will not take Terron’s spot. In fact, some have suggested that Peat is even a long way from taking aging Zach Strief spot at right tackle. So can you explain to me what the salary cap have to do with how well Terron’s play on the field?

Aints is doing a horrible job of keeping talent on the team because of their mismanagement of the salary cap. I think the Aints offensive schemes are about to change and we will see if Armsteads talents fit the new schemes. I truly believe by the time Armstead is ready to peak (and get paid), the Aints will be ready to deal him somewhere else to save money. Nothing against Armstead, but that has been the history of the Aints.

If Terron has a good year and makes the pro bowl he is not going anywhere. Left Tackles are hard to come by, especially a good one. When you win a Super Bowl players are going to want to get paid. If you don’t want to pay them somebody else will and you can’t keep everybody. That’s just the nature of the business. But I don’t expect you to understand that because the Failcons never won a Superbowl. Also under the Sean Payton regime, what player has left the Saints and went to another team and had great success?

You think wrong.

You don't think at all.

The New Orleans Saints will spend part of this year's NFL training camp at The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia.

The team announced the West Virginia venue in a news release Thursday. The Saints will split time this summer between The Greenbrier and their facility in Metairie, La., where they have trained for the past five years. The Saints also held camp in Metairie from 2003 to 2005.

The Saints held training camp at Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., from 2006 to 2008. They spent a week training in Oxnard, Calif. in 2009.

The team hasn't released camp dates and locations.

In the release, Saints head coach Sean Payton said that The Greenbrier offers a more moderate summer climate.

Ok. This has nothing to do with my SuperBowl bound Falcons. This has everything to do with the mixed up Bensons, a GM whose salary cap gambling methods have caught up with the team, an out of control Vicodin popping coach that only cares for his addiction and banging his female pet in Va, and players who feel under appreciated.

Armstead will NOT be there for much longer. Even if he blows up.

Coming from the fan of a team that ruined Tony Gonzales' career by having him end it in that dump. Same with Steven Jackson.

What they think doesn't make ATL any less of a dump of an organization
Uh, can you find anyone out there in the league that thinks like you or is that just YOUR personal opinion? These guys are in the league. One has played for them. I'm sure if we ask Chris Ivory, Sproles, Graham, and a few others what they thought about that organization, I'm sure that they would have a few choice words.
