Manning Passing Academy

BBF,
I went to the Manning Passing Academy back in 02 and it was basically a college combine then so I can imagine how big it has grown in 13 years.

I used to go over to it when I was working in Hammond and it was at Southeastern. It's HUGE and who's who and a who's next are all assembled in one place for it.

Ivy will have to show me something this fall still not sold on him
Aman. I feel he will not finish season. He put up stats because that's the offense that he's in but he's no solid QB. I'm excited about JM and I feel he's going to be the one who ends the season Houston.

It is not a teaching camp for college players. What they learn is just what they pick up from hearing the coaches instruct the high school kids.
Some people think they are being taught as well but your right, this camp is more of a privilege to be out there helping teach with the mannings versus a camp where your being taught. A good friend of mine who is a asst coach at ulm said that they can ask questions but they are really learning from watching others and watching some of the coaches show the kids proper stands and etc

Same here...his decision making, footwork must improve, also looking D.Will way only will not cut it...if can spread the ball around effectively we will be fine..

And what people don't realize is JM can have an edge on IVy already due to the fact he's been around the system that Coach Chang has intentions on running. Just because he hasn't played yet doesn't mean he want turn it out. Look at Kent. Kent was a backup had not played one down of college football until the TNSU game and then There on it was his show. So I'm betting on JM ending the season. If Ivy gets better Over summer then good but if not bring JM in. JM playing doesn't mean you'll have a repeat of last season. You cant say that is a fact unless your GOD and I know that's not the case. But everyone has a right to there opinion.

Ivy showed me that he has raw talent. A good QB coach can polish a few things on him. Ivy is a really good QB, but I believe that breaking his leg in the Tulane game really shattered his style of play. Ivy showed flashes of SWAC star before the injury. In fact Tulane, (who had a very good defense in 2013), could not stop Ivy on his only drives of the game. JSU should have been up 21-3 in the first half of that game if weren't for two picks that weren't his fault.

I really saw Ivy being the best QB in the SWAC at this point, but I believe that his memory of the Tulane game is stopping him from bring all of his confidence to the SWAC table.

I am a fan of this kid except when he faces my G-Men, but I wish him a great season. I think JSU has the weapons to make it to the title game. The coaching needed to get there is another question that needs to answered this year.

I thought Ivy looked good last year, not sure I understand the complaints, isn't he still young?

These ppl don't know football man lmao. The back up always looks attractive to jsu fans until they actually play. Also, Chang didn't really coach morikawa, he left before he could. JM from what i saw in the spring doesn't have the strongest arm, he doesn't run but he is an elite passer. How that will look in a game? Idk. But ivy is a great one and everyone seems to see it except us. I say ivy starts sep 5 and if he messes up put JM in for a series. .

See, even a JSU fan is saying the same thing we say about some of the people on this board from there. lol

Some of these responses sound like a set up, Ivy will be fine plus Ivy will not play the entire MSU or TNSU game but he will play out the SWAC games! The 1st too game are up to who gets hot first! We will see all 3 QB's the first two games unless Ivy scores in at least 2 of the possessions 1st quarter! by the way I didn't see any SWAC QB's throw that far during the season!
