You mean these folks don't have anything better to do than to rile themselves up over black folks...who don't have any real impact on their lives? And the politicos in these area know this is how these folks think.

I can't believe the North Shores of Lake Pontchartrain (Mandeville, LA)/I-12 corridor is less than average. IMO, that's probably the most racist part of Louisiana. That's where David Duke and the former Imperial Wizard of the KKK Bill Wilkinson called home at one time. The people in that area elected David Duke as their state representative at one time.

That doesn't mean a thing lol.

Ah i live in Shreveport and i can vouch its not overly racists like the map states, hell the city is majority black rotfl. Some people didn't do their homework and are just speculating. Now Bossier the city across the Red River, yeah it is racist.

IMO, the best indicator for the most racist places in Louisiana is the poll results from the 1991 gubernatorial election when Edwin Edwards defeated David Duke. The blue parishes Edwin Edwards won, the red parishes David Duke won. Most of the parishes Duke won are rural backwoods parishes. I am surprised that Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA) voted for Duke, but that is where the West Monroe High School REBELS are located.

That map is still accurate. Shocked at Bossier though lol

I'm shocked that St. Tammany Parish where Mandeville, La is located wasn't red, but I do believe people in that area were getting tired of David Duke bringing their community so much negative attention. But as I expected, Livingston Parish on the I-12 corridor voted for him. IMO, Livingston Parish is the main reason why there's so much tension in the Baton Rouge area.

Also, in the map I posted above from the 1991 gubernatorial election, there's a large percentage of Blacks that reside in some of those parishes in northeast Louisiana, but a lot of Blacks in those areas feel disenfranchised and powerless and they don't see a need to vote. Also, the income dichotomy in those areas between Blacks and Whites is one of the largest in the country.

Here's an example of Blacks in one of the parishes thinking that selling drugs is their only means of any type of income.

Man it was a HAPPENING back in the gap in that Ohio Valley/Pennsylvania/West Virginny corridor. I thought I'd stepped back into the 1870s when they enticed my raggedy azz to go there and "learn." Be damned lol. A LOT of those folks were cool w/ keeping the local negroes in their place. As long as they stayed in their predominant black area, on a football field/basketball court for them to enjoy, can have access to "white trash" Becky every so often for sexual pleasure *smh*, and dare not enter their cribs, they seemed to be okay w/ the blacks there (see Ohio St, Penn St, Purdue, et al super sports attendance records for clarity). I expected better of the educated people but I quickly found out they were the worst.

I stayed integrating stuff and people up there *smh*. The numnutts thought I was David Fulcher (Cincy Bengs) so I had a decent pass to run roughshod on IH71 and IH70 at will :D.

"You're f'ing awesome!"
"Oh you are great!"
"Oh my god.... I love you!" lol
"I'll do anything for you!" lol
"I've never had a black man before!"

Pitiful. smh Where's JR's they damned near hung his azz on campus azz @? *smh*

Basically that Blue Ridge Mountain corridor.

Basically that Blue Ridge Mountain corridor.

Visiting that silly mess is one thing. Living there, interacting w/ those people daily, and matriculating about them is another. You can visibly see their hatred for you, until they decide to put you in another category because *quote* "you're different from the rest of those people." *unquote* lol

The same silly mess that I was forced to embrace and overcome for 14 freaking consecutive years in Texas. *smh*

Huh? Man I kicked it Ohio State. Hung out with the former Mayor of Youngstown's son and some of the ball players white and black. Remember I was working with their NROTC program in the Diversity office while in grad school. I was still on active duty at the time. There were some surburbs of Columbus back then that was dicey. But I had no issues at all with C-bus. I still love going up there. Black mayor, black police chief etc.

Now West Virginia was scary. LOL. I didn't like Cincy either. They had a lot of racial tension when I was at Ohio State. Dayton was cool. Nothing but us there. LOL. As long as you didn't go to the rural part of the state you were okay. Athens Ohio where Ohio University was not bad at all either. Bottom line is the areas outside of the cities in the midwest are racist. Nothing new. Just not many of us in those areas.

Yeap just read the Advocate comments. Since they moved to that Facebook post stuff, some of the hidden racists have disappeared on there. lol
