Lebron, the coach killa.
This has nothing to do with LeBron. Thibs is somewhat responsible for his own demise by being too stubborn to hire an offensive minded Asst. Coach. There are reports that even Doug Collins reached out to Thibs last year to join his staff and try to bring some type of offensive philosophy to the team but Thibs declined...
Man it was painful watching the Bulls at time this year...Dude has taken the Bulls as far as he can take them...it's time...
He needs to be somewhere like Denver..
It's hard to coach when your star player only plays in 40 percent of the games, and the front office handcuffs you. It's remarkable that Thibs was able to win more than 60 percent of his games under those conditions.

I understand that. It's more than that though. Thibs has struggled with rotations, not playing rookies, and not a care in the world for pacing his team during the regular season.
It's funny how the Bulls had the leading scorer in the NCAA a year ago but Thibs doesn't attempt to give him some playing time. He possibly could have helped us when we were going through offensive slumps
Dude had Doug McDermit or whatever his name is...Why wasn't he getting any tick? lol
his rotations were horrible smh..
Get that man outta there..
So True. It's also a shame how he kept giving mins to Hinrich when it's obvious that Snell should have played more too.He didn't get any minutes because he couldn't pickup Thibs defensive schemes, which I think is a horrible excuse. It was the same early on with Nikola Mirotic but Mirotic basically shot his way into the rotation with the little minutes he got. Look at the reason Jimmy Butler got to play alot during his early years. It sure wasn't for his offense.
Even when Rose came back, the offense still looked horrible (see Cleveland series) it was a struggle...and looked forced at times...
How the front office have handcuffs on him??
How did they stop him from subbing in players folk..what is you saying Chris Broussard lol
That makes no sense
bottom line, dude couldn't beat good teams..or the teams to get the bulls to the conference finals...and they (the front office) brought in pieces for him...

And who was that player? The offense was inconsistent because those guys -- the starters -- had only played 31 games together all season. And players like Rose and Noah and Dunleavy couldn't practice because they were injured. Hard to develop any continuity in that regard. And still, Chicago averaged 100 points per game this season.
And the Bulls front office put a minutes restriction on certain players and prevented them from engaging in certain drills during practice. There were reports that Paxson was telling Bulls players that Thibs didn't have their best interest in mind. A player later confirmed that and called the front office out on it.
Paxson wants to fire Thibs so bad to hire his boy Fred Hoiberg so he can control the team the way he wants. So, they're doing/ have been doing everything possible to undermine him.

Kendrick, have you ever played competitive basketball before? I can take 5 random average basketball players and within 5 days of practice have them with some resemblance of an offense... What happened with the Bulls offense had more to do with their scheme/philosophy than it did with practice time and continuity. The majority of the time there were ZERO plays or sets being ran on offense.
Why did the front office feel the need to put a minutes restrictions on the players? Was Thibs too stubborn to realize he needed to pace his team?
That's no excuse for an offense not being run. A majority of the players have been together for a few seasons now. Hinrich was getting beat constantly this season. That's no excuse to have him out there. Thibs problem was that he was relying too much on the vets. Btw, I'm still waiting on you to tell me the name of the player that confirmed that Thibs didn't have the players best interest and called the front office out on it.If you knew anything about basketball, you'd understand that it takes more than a week to develop offense continuity. To say otherwise is just insane. When you don't have guys practicing, playing limited minutes, etc. you can't develop any chemistry.
And what hurt the Bulls the most was a lack of defense, not offense. They couldn't defend anybody most of the season. And that was because Noah was hobbled on a bad knee. When Noah is right, he can help and recover and rotate. He covers for everyone. Noah couldn't move this year. And when you have a fellow post player out there like Gasol who struggles defensive, it makes matter worse.
That's why Hinrich played so much. That's why Gibson played so much in late game situations. That's why Niko, Snell and McDermott were not out there on a consistent basis. When in doubt, Thibs is going to rely on defense and veterans more often than not.
About pace... there were a bunch of games this year where the Bulls would be up big, lose the lead and have to put the starter back in to finish games. Thibs couldn't pace the team. Not when his squad was struggling against bums.

Please stop trying to side step my original question. You claim a player tried to call out management, who was it?Break it down then, basketball sage. Describe what the Bulls were doing on offense. What actions/sets they were running?
Perfect description. The team was completely tired and that comes back on Thibs. He is a great regular season coach, but his teams always look run down and tired in the playoffs. I mean seriously, they got beat by a short-handed team.
Lol
man Thibs time ran out..bottom line all this front office stuff is B.S. you had the pieces and you couldn't get the job done...point blank
all this players time restriction crap..that didn't do jack crap when bron bron hit that game winner..and how they got ran off the court by the Cavs...all that crap you talking didn't matter...
Thibs haven't/hadn't won nothing but IMO was thinking like he won something..lol...
