Game of Thrones (Season 5)

I think Melisandre knows something about Jon Snow that even he doesn't know. She even said as much before she left him alone - after he refused her offer to uhhh...give him some. And I think I know what it is. And no, I didn't read the book, but in listening to the story Littlefinger told Sansa about how Rhaegar Targaryen (Daenerys' older brother) rode past his wife (Ella Martell) and kidnapped Lyanna Stark (Ned Starks' sister). Sansa said that Lyanna was raped. I'm thinking that Jon Snow really is a Stark, but isn't Ned Starks' basterd son. He is the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen...which means he could make a claim on the iron throne as well.

And I've got a bad feeling that something bad is going to happen to Stannis' daugher. Her mother (Stannis' wife) doesn't seem too stable.

As long as Melisandre is around I don't think anything will happen to her. I still don't trust the guy who's always asking about the fighting pits.

Really feeling the sand snakes.

Kenn, if you let your mind go back to Season 1.....Ned Starks & Jon rode from Winterfell together until they reached the fork to King's Landing &
Castle Black. Before they departed, Ned told Jon something very, very important.

Also, if you'll remember Ser Barristan fought during Robert's Rebellion; he told Danerys when she discovered he was a spy that he knew her family well & when she was ready, he'd tell her about them........the ugly, the bad, and the good.

And finally, remember, Robert Barratheon was in love with Lyanna Stark......but also remember he loathed the Targaryens. Have you ever paid attention to Ned Stark's reaction whenever Robert Barratheon talked about Lyanna?

:):p

The quote she gave him - You Know Nothing, Jon Snow its the same one from Ygritte (the woman who took his virginity). Its a good thing to turn down some nooky from the witch.

Aheem. Aheem. Aheem. This was my theory last year and I'm sticking with it. I'm predicting Jon Snow and the Targaryean Princess to marry and make babies.

I think last night's episode was one of the best episodes I've seen in a while. The battle for the North is shaping up. Stannis is headed for Winterfell with his crew and Bolton knows he is on the way. At the same time he had to convince Ramsay (Snow) Bolton that while his wife is preganant with a boy, Ramsay is still his son and will be needed to help keep the North. However, Sansa Stark knows how to play the game now. And now that she is back home and see that there are some people who have her back....on man!

Jon Snow still continues to display his leadership qualities. It looks like Jorah has caught greyscale and Daenerys is getting married.

Jon Snow is doing good job, I dont trust Stannis or the Boltons. I still say that Sansa is about to be married to a NUT!!!

This season, HBO has started to deviate from the Song of Fire & Ice book series. Already there have been things changed on the show that aren't in alignment with the books.

What are they?

Right now, they're minor changes, but make a big impact on the show. In the books, Prince Oberyn had 8 daughters (Obara, Nymeria, Tyene, Sarella, Elia, Obella, Dorea, and Loreza). Since Prince Oberyn never married, all 8 of his daughters are considered bastard children, thus the name "Sand" (which is the name given to illegitimate children in Dorne). The 4 oldest daughters (Obara, Nymeria, Tyene, and Sarella) all have different mothers (Sarella, who is not in Dorne but away studying to be a maester, had a black mother, so she is black), but the 4 youngest (Elia, Obella, Dorea, and Loreza) are the daughters of Ellaria Sand, Oberyn's lover, and those 4 are not yet in their teens. But on the HBO series, when Ellaria met with the Sand Snakes, Tyene called her "Momma", which means the show has developed her character to be the daughter of Ellaria Sand.

Also, on the show, Sansa Stark is at Winterfell, engaged to Ramsey Snow. This is did not happen in the books. These changes may seem small now, but it has already started to impact the show, while deviating from the book. I think HBO did this because so many fans have read or are reading the books and have figured out secrets and outcomes of the characters. I think HBO wants to keep the series full of surprising twists and turns.

And there is another change, but check your inbox.:)

They announced last yeart that they were making more changes from the books starting this season.

Thanks for the info about the differences, it good info to know.

Cersei has gone to far - Olenna will strike back.

Wow - Sansa grew a pair in dealing with her husband's girlfriend. Now she is married to the nut job - there is nothing she can do.

I think it's just a matter of time before Cersei gets hers. Lady Olenna will not let that fly.

And I just knew that "Reak" or Theon would step in and stop/kill Ramsay for what he was doing to Sansa. But I was wrong.

I think things are getting very interesting. Ramsey will be killed before too long. Sansa is rallying the rest of the north to her help. The younger sister is learning EVERYTHING she needs to know. Now, here's my question. WHATS GOING ON WITH THE CRIPPLE BROTHER AND THE YOUNGER BROTHER? They haven't shown them in a long minute.

Oh. And yeah, Cersei will NOT be able to pay back the Iron Bank, because the Terrell family will not front them the money after this stunt. So, now you have old girl with the dragons coming for her, the eldest Barathon king coming for her, the family of the Terrell gunning for her, the north will be rallied behind Sansa and they will be coming for her, he'll, EVERYONE will be coming for her head. I think she'll die and it'll be a mystery of who killed her like her crazy son.

Hey, what yall think about Lil Finger playing her too? I think he will help get her killed as well as himself in the end.

I read somewhere that they would not be shown at all this year. However, their return next year is supposed to be dynamic and have a HUGE impact on the story line.

I think old Olenna will pay Cersi's ass back. Since the High Sparrow has authority that superceed's the King's. I'm guessing Olenna will inform the High Sparrow about Cersei's and Jamie's relationship.

I doubt it. You can't kill everyone (LOL). Sansa is too valuable. And Littlefinger (including Varys) is one of those type of characters that are just to smart to allow themselves to get caught up. Just my opinion.
