[BRAVEHEART123]

I'm going to make a crazy statement...

FAMU is the "Big Fish in the Little Pond" in the MEAC. FAMU drives Attendence in the MEAC Period. No other school in the MEAC has the pull attendence nor name recognition wise as FAMU. BUT...FAMU has learned it costs money to drive to DC, Baltimore, etc. FAMU is considering a move to the SWAC.

[HORNETSWARM]

FCS dreams my arse....LOL And he saw the Practice field and and new Stadium...sold!!!!

You might be right.

You said it, but we all know po TP is thinking it too

:lol::lol::lol:

[JR]

I guess going to the FCS Playoffs was not an issue with Jenkins leaving the MEAC!

As Deion said back in the day. It must be the MONEY!

[BRAVEHEART123]

DAMMM DAMMM DAMMM DAMMM DAMMM DAMMM DAMMM DAMMITT......................

Your only hope might be to hire Simmons....But Hopson will know his scheme already :lmao:.

Congrats on getting it right!

[97JSULEGEND]

I'm not Mad. More power to Bama State on this hire.. I've been to Daytona a couple times and yeah the beach is decent but I look over at that little bitty school and have no desire to check it out. It looks like a community college to me... He now gets to play in front of some bigger crowds, better facilities etc...All that FSC talk and you play in high-school atmospheres every weekend...It probably wore thin....

[Tigerpride]

I've heard that too from another well informed source but am waiting for an official word.

Its not that big of a secret... geez! It's been discussed many times and over on the MEAC board a week or so ago.

He aint leaving PV no time soon?

[HORNETSWARM]

 Something made him run away from all those sexy bikinis on the beach. :noidea:

If he had gone to Southern or Grambling or FAMU or TNState I might be worried. Your school is a shipwreck.

[BRAVEHEART123]

Harold Jackson might as well resign...

It is often said a winning Alcorn makes a winning JSU. Problem is, expectations can literally crush a coach. JSU folks will want a National Championship. SWAC Championship alone will not suffice. I actually feel sorry for that man.

JSU, you try to hire AlcorN coaches. Or........Spears.

If a contract hasn't been signed, anything is possible. He can even resign.

I hope JSU ain't asking Hopson to show them one of his white friends. :shame:

[BRAVEHEART123]

Seriously JSU....You want somebody that shares your passion for winning the SWAC. Melvin Spears actually fits the JSU Mentality. You know he wants to whoop Alcorn. And his scheme should mesh well with Ivy.

Now about Johnnie Cole....

Why ya'll so worried about JSU? The ONLY HBCUs that concern the MIGHTY JSU are Grambling and TNState. The rest of you will get one in every now and then but we have one thing you don't. WE ARE JACKSON STATE! YOU ARE NOT.

... and as for Jenkins, he is a good coach. The hottest on the HBCU market but he lost to a bad Norfolk State team last year and a bad Hampton team this year. Ain't nobody got reason to be scared of him.
