It's old now. Don't know if they ever refurbished it. Probably time for them to get a new one or redo that one. But some of them have the nerve to talk about the Mini Dome at SU which has been refurbished a couple of times and has a nice floor.
 
The bad boy has looked the same since I was in NYSP back in 85'. 30 years no change. but the worst in the SWAC...AAMU, Valley come to mind....

And Billups is just a great coach. No if ands or buts about it.

Yep. It's for them to get a new one.

Guess they are waiting on what happens with the Dome

Man, I remember my freshman year during indoor track season running in that gym with that illegal track they had us running on. The damn straight away for sprints and hurdles was only 54 meters long and everybody damn near qualified for the NCAA national championship. So the NCAA comes out and measure that POS to find out the distance was off by one meter. :smh:

SMH at the illegal track. I don't know why it seemed bigger when I was in HS in Jackson. But it looks so small to me now. I remember when they built that thing. I still remember their old gym.

JR cause you been around the world and country and you've seen d1 and pro level stadiums but to say it the worst in the SWAC is just piling on now. It's middle of the pack SWAC but not worst. Also it's a multi purpose facility so it used for more than just basket ball. If you change the layout to current basketball only seating it will limit it's use...

No order but Alcorn by far is the worst..
