Southern's Redding Played Ineligible vs NSU

BATON ROUGE - Southern starting Left Tackle Reginald Redding took the field against Northwestern State Saturday, but he wasn't suppose to.
The junior was on a list of ineligible players but his name was overread, according to Redding. The list included the three starting defensive backs that were held out of the game, Dionte McDuffy, Kevin King and De'Andre Woodland.
It's the third time Redding has been ruled ineligible this year. Redding hopes to be cleared for this week's SWAC opener versus Prairie View.

We need to fire this compliance officer. Obviously he has no clue either. The kid got cleared by him before. You can't go back and say on second thought. Maybe not. Then say oh yeah he is cleared but come back and say no again. If I was Odums and Broussard, I would probably hand my resignation in until the folks at the top of the food chain get serious.
 
Seems like SU was more concerned with "assisting" the Cajuns with breaking an attendance record. Then RVs and Motorhomes. Last thing on their mind was who was eligible. They had them boys show up to board the bus for Cajun field then said oh wait, let's see them papers. Let's try and figure out who's eligible and who's not real quick before the game start.
Okay You, you, you, you and you gotta get off the bus. Y'all staying at home.

the scary part is, sounds like they rushed that check because they were trying to hurry & make it to the game in time for kickoff. So they may not have gotten it right. Could've possible skipped over someone that's ineligible. Or maybe even accidentally left an eligible player at school. That's what happens when you're incompetent and wait until you get on the bus to do something that important.

After the last three weeks I truly believe that Southern don't want to get it's shit together ya''ll need to let the white folks (LSU) take over for a while to help ya'll out...but seriously I know that our guy has spoken with your AD and offered suggestions and help...ya'll need to hire everybody including the baby AD who was not ready to run a dept yet!

Somebody suggested in another thread that the AD fire everybody and start fresh. It appears that may be the only answer.

Our schools gotta get better. The incompetence at HBCU's is beyond sad. Someday we gotta start making folks earn their pay checks and retirement.

Dude, where are all those people who said they gave a damn about what you thought? Oh my bad, I guess they don't exist. Stop hating because every HBCU is going through some of type of problem like this.

We're not. Don't lump us into the category with you ineligible asses. ALL y'all need to have y'all asses kicked out of the NCAA. Especially after seeing what we went through. And sU was there with us and they STILL hasn't gotten their isht together? They need to just close your school down and turn that place into a landfill. The people at your school aren't even trying to fix anything. They're just there to collect checks and goto games and show off their new outfits.
