Not really. We have a knew offense to install. Jones didn't have those type of players. Now after two years then it will be karma if he doesn't improve. I will be surprised if we win two games.

I figured the offense would struggle but didn't the defense would have this much trouble also.

But Cee, atleast Jones would stick to what works. That big #31 back of yours could wear their defense down. And he was getting good yards, why go away from that?

Spady is just flashy. SWAC coaching.....
 
Just like I figured...

While watching Grambling during the Broadway years, Spady, while very smart, can sometimes turn into a Mad scientist type and actually outsmart himself. Broadway would be the HNIC one who could contain the Mad scientist and contain Spady to channel the good he could produce. Now that the Mad Scientist has been separated from the HNIC, the HNIC with his common sense demeanor is beating the smarts of the Mad Scientist (Spady). In essence, in similar fashion to how Doug would contain Spears and maximize his usefulness.

This is why AAMU was picked to finish dead last perhaps in all the SWAC. Seems like the best in the MEAC always seem to face an average or below average SWAC team.
AAMU is not good at all.

See BFF, ALL players look good in practice, but when that heat gets turned on the butts in a real game, the true player emerges. Look at how sU bragged about their QB, but when they played ULL, it was a different story.

You must really hate Comegy? Is he not one of the best coaches in BCF?
 
The MEAC is gonna be fun to watch...NCA&T, BCU, and SCSU battling for that auto bid...NSU, Morgan State, and Howard lurking...and FAMU trying to play spoiler(our games count in the standings although we're not playoff eligible)...gonna be a fun season to watch in the confernce
