People who dont know music won't understand. ... Name me Five 22 year-olds from a HBCU band that can arrange that and ill shut up

Hell some older band directors cant do it
 
Jsu has a young staff that does most if the arranging.. Mr. Little assoc director....is young & Mr. Prewitt is young.....both was writing when they were marching at JSU. & they were capable then & now. But....Brian is truly a amazing arranger!!!! Haymer is reallly great. Taylor is the greatest....he just don't have the time.....yet , but will. But, its not ya age......but ya talent & how u see things.
 
Brian is great at only 22!!!!!!! But one thing I can say... Haymer ain't playing.......dude is a beast!!!!!!.. & the jukebox is on some other shat....& gonna give folks pure hell this year!!!!! Only one has a chance in my opinion ...that....is jsu. Its not about who the loudest anymore its about the whole package SU ain't playing.... & Jsu getting better & better at drilling & arranging!!. These to schools have such great staffs & love for music & tradition. They have great alumni also.

That's what I've been saying for the past two years. I'll take balance over noise most days.
 



Not gonna lie THIS IS CLASSIC. No need to hate, he stepped out the box and nailed it. The only answer to this is probably a march lol, unless someone writes some of those hellafied Earth Wind & Fire tunes, Brass Construction, etc. This song would have really been strong under Doc Greggs when SU's trumpets were strong as hell.

This was one of the finest performances I have ever seen, bar none . This performance was off the charts!
