SU has had a stock Russell uniform

Those aren't stock. As I think back though Pete had a couple stock designs.

What folks are wearing to the game has nothing to do with apparel contracts unless you can prove it.

We are going to have to agree to disagree. How can either of us prove this on an open forum. I'll argue it holds some weight. The post by jag4life is more accurate. However, my ex worked for Brand Jordan and a very close relative at Nike. Both in marketing. When LSU is playing on ESPN or CBS. Nike/Adidas or UA expects their products on both the field and in the stands.

Like it or not. When we watch a Alabama game you will see Nike polo's, jerseys, t'shirts, etc, etc on almost every fan. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy less people at a TnSU football game. You will have to search hard to find the fans with TSU/Adidas apparel.

bruh them are stock... AAMU had the same design the same year.... you having 3 colors doesnt make it "not stock" .... JSU had the same ones also.

The piping and colors do. Show me another school with 3 colors, plus the borders on the numbers and the piping. Those are DIFFERENT designs. Ask someone who manufactures uniforms.

If it isnt as simple as changing the fabric colors, it ain't the same design.

Maybe he didn't understand by what you meant when you said "stock". Maybe you should have just said "the same design".

LOL @ Jrock

What doesn't.

I'm not defending Russell... just saying it won't be any better with Nike/Adidas/UA without creative ADs/Coaches making design decisions instead of choosing stock.

YOUR stock jerseys sUck too. Just because you have different colors to add to your different pants don't make your stock jerseys look any better. Russell just gave you all different colors of stock jerseys.

Calm down...no combo beats Orange & Green

That all white set is identical to our all black and is the best thing Russell ever created for us...but we had to actually pay for those

FAMU Orange and Green witll NEVER look good together. Whether on football uniforms, band, t-shirts, on paper, etc. LOL

Yall should have just copied Miami and went with the dark Green.

That's what I was saying...we used to wear a darker green...until the Russell contract

Our practice uniforms feature that dark green

HBCU fans and alums like brands like Nike and Polo. when it worked in the on-campus bookstore, we would sellout of Nike but had to continuously markdown Russell to sale it
