No Excuses...We Must GET IT DONE. I don't want no crap about, "We beat the two SCG participants, etc.". This year is make or break for Alcorn State Football. Not winning it all this year will set us back even further. This is not being negative this is just telling truth.

Alabama State was picked to win SWAC East in preseason and rightfully so. Now what are we going to do about it? We have nine teams who do not want Alcorn to win it all (and truth be told, there is an underlying tone to why they don't want Alcorn in particular to win it). Have no compassion for every team you play. Look at them as an oppressor who just despises Alcorn. Do not be ashamed to blow teams out and send a message. They won't like it, but why the hell should Alcorn care about their feelings? I want that Swagger like the 80s U. Let do this damn thing.

But ya'll need to lay off ole BH123 becasue in THIS case, he is ABSOLULETY right. The Alcorn fans are EXPECTING a championship. Why? Because they blew JSU out last year. :rolleyes: They keep forgetting they finished in third place. YES THIRD! When they don't make it to Houston, they are never going to believe in the great white hype again. It's gonna be over for them. If they don't win it all this year.. (and I don't think they will even win the EAST.. lol) they won't recover. The only thing that MIGHT save the Injuns and let them keep some faith is to AT LEAST go to Houston but Jackson State is going to Houston and I still can't see them beating BAMA State or AAMU.

Maybe till 2016. Not to smack, buts it's going to be somewhat a strain to pay him the money to keep him around earned, especially with the new standard Harold Jackson has set in regards to salary. As you probably already know, coaches nowadays pay close attention to what their are getting paid.

But like I've said in many previous threads, I cannot say I would not do the same thing.

No one is going to pay him a Harold Jackson salary. Jackson demanded that salary.

I think we will do better than we did last year... we have better coaches, better QB options, and an offense that will put points on the board. We spotted most team a WHOLE half last year and still had a good season. We coming out gunning this year!
