You ALSO do realize that SU maintained its dominance over jSU until 70's. SU's 60's (from 1960 t0 1969) record against jSU was 8-2.

LOL. Man don't nobody think that but you guys. I will tell that to all the 2014 SU Engineering grads with all their job offers in their hands. I will make sure I tell that to the PV and AAMU grads too.

I'll tell you this: Not only does Ace Mumford have more national titles than jsu, but Pete Richardson as well. I don't revel exposing all of these jsu dubious distinctions but you people just won't shut up. :smh: :lol: :emlaugh: You people bring that myopia in the general public and act astounded when you're called on the propaganda. :lol: :emlaugh:

You can't take the name with you and besides with our conference athletic budgets where would you go?! And have you once stop to think maybe its your institution that's holding back progress. Lets face the facts the SWAC has not been the SWAC since the mid 90's and it has taken us almost 20 years to figure it out and yet still we lack in ALL areas let me repeat that ALL areas! We can't win out of conference and when we do 95% of the time its a worthless opponent. We don't market well, demand the support when in honesty we have no reason too, there is no consistency, a piss poor showing in leadership that we allow, not enough support from alums, and there are many more.Think about it people all of our schools are in states that never wanted blacks to learn and if not for the federal government we would be in serious trouble because each state would snatch funding from us so fast it wouldn't be funny. Just stop this foolishness and be about business, can you vision a conference that is self sufficient with all its members my goodness what a day that would be.

I have to respectfully disagree with ya'. Rivalries are what makes football so much fun. To have the rivalries you need passionate fans. Folks on this board got passion for their schools...whether or not it's logical. Nothin' wrong with that at all. Rivalries and passion drive interest in the games. You think Army & Navy folks are complaining about their fans talking smack to each other...knowing their schools can't beat the big-time programs?

If you've resolved yourself to feel that your school sucks then so be it...but that doesn't mean that you can't have rivalries with other schools.

It also means killer lion isn't our spokesperson and not everyone feels that their school "sucks" I side-eye anyone who feels that way... seriously. So I agree, if he//she wants rivalries and smack talk to go away then good luck

Uhhh JR, there are far more subject areas in universities than just engineering. You sound like Grambling folks when they can only talk about ONE sport. Seems like all su folks talk about is ONE successful field.

Dude, Mumford got those titles when JSU was just joining the SWAC and just getting it's feet wet in D-1 football. When JSU got used to the newer division, it was OVAH for su's dominance. It was either Robinson teams or W.C. teams winning SWAC titles.
su was a mere afterthought and often scheduled for homecoming games during the '70's, '80's and early '90's.

Just like how I would talk about our music program because that was my field. Someone else may talk about the nursing program because of what they studied in school.

His problem is that he feels bullied. Even after UAPB won a championship, JSU could STILL laugh at them. He thinks it's not fair. But life is not fair. We are JSU. We are great! UAPB is not. At some point, he must accept that and move on.

And you would rather ignore the fact that S.U. has a new school coach and an old school coach both with more Black College Football National Championships than your entire school. That basically means that S.U. has been twice as successful as jsu in winning BCF National Titles. You people have a ways to go to maintain as many wins as S.U. and have a winning percentage comparable to S.U. I know that might be a little too complex for you and a few of your comrads to comprehend (translation: S.U. is jsu's "Daddy").

TP, you are missing the entire point. JSU only has a 61% winning percentage (football). You've got a long way to go before you can compete with SU's winning percentage (61%). This is why I don't fool with TSPN. lolol
