Which game had the most attendance...97 or 99, I can't even remember, but one year ppl were sitting in the aisle and there was another 30 plus outside that didn't even get in the game...I can't remember what year in the late 90s it was..

They were probably about the same. People were in the aisle both games. 99 was probably the best pre-game I have ever witnessed in my LIFE!

This is set as my alarm clock in the morning!!

:happydance:

We haven't seen trumpet boy since this happened.. LOL

The BOOM been running the SWAC for years now. :D

This game was an Instant Classic. Also, my first SU/JSU game in Jackson... as a Student (My Freshmen Year).

That game was Crazy PACKED!!!

That was the 90s version of the SCG! We knew back then that whoever won that one was the champ!

I think you have your years mixed up. The SU game in 1995 was High School Day; not 1997.

Exactly, no rain after halftime. I do remember Southern playing "Blood On The Dance Floor" as the Boom was marching back into the stands.

During the game specifically after halftime....

Frat,
I thought that was in 2001 when I ran into you with my LB ZNSPR8502 from Dallas in the stands that day. That was the time Pete ran the ref down at the end of the game for spotting the ball slow and letting the clock run out. LOL.

I wouldn't call that rain tho.. THAT was a storm. People sat in their cars hoping for the storm to pass.

Yeah it did get heavy. I don't remember any rain in 93, 95, 97 or 99 though. All the 90 games were perfect weather in Jackson. Same for in Baton Rouge. 92, 94, 96 were good weather games. That's why I like the game played in mid October.
