:lol: Broussard tried to sneak faulty information by the NCAA but he got caught. Sounds like that would classify as cheating?

No he didn't. He actually submitted what he found. He was honest and straight up about it. He was not going to make up info that was not there. He gave them what he had. If he was going to cheat. He would have sent completed paperwork.

The NCAA has acknowledged that. So again, you are reaching. Broussard should smack you for saying he is dishonest. LOL.

YOU WEREN"T SUPPOSED TO BE THERE ***********************

Why not? Again this had nothing to do with current players and the NCAA was not banning SU in the Fall. If you guys got an issue. Take it up with the NCAA. Good luck with that btw.

I'll sue him too and su as well.
Broussard knew the paperwork wasn't sufficient when he sent it.

Cool story, but teams that can't go, just can't go! So you should have never gone to Houston...... championship is void Su*

Only in JSU alums or fans minds. LOL. You should have told Comegy to win more SCGs. Then it wouldn't have hurt so much. Plus the SWAC office has already said, no more bans for SWAC Championships. They set the precedent with tourney and now they are saying the SCG will have all teams eligible to get there according to the UAPB paper. So again, take it up with YOUR Prez and the Commish on their rulings. The MEAC might take yall on over there since FAMU is acting up with APR stuff. Maybe JSU can replace them in the MEAC. Then yall can win the MEAC and go to the FCS playoffs.

He told them that. But he had to send what he had. You don't say I ain't sending isht to the NCAA. LOL. He didn't send paperwork until Jan/February. Blame the NCAA for telling him to keep looking.

The NCAA knew that when they ASKED for it. He couldn't fix bad historical data it because it would have been fraud on HIS part.

So the NCAA knowingly asked for faulty data? Come on J4L, you know better than that.

Prove it that the NCAA intentionally asked for "faulty" data. Where's the documentation proving this. I can trust your opinion but I'd rather verify it with evidence. Thanks in advance.

Comegy wasn't fired. His contract wasn't renewed.

Wrong.....

Dude, what are you talking about?

Comegy, whose contract was not renewed by JSU in December following a loss to Southern in the SWAC Football Championship game, would replace former Delta Devils coach Karl Morgan, who compiled an 8-35 record in Itta Bena over four seasons.....

Wrong again and you know it

Didn't jSU pay Comegy $50k to leave? If his contract had expired, they wouldn't had to pay him $50k.

Yep...

Jackson State coach Rick Comegy's new contract is a year longer than the university announced last month and includes a $50,000 buyout and specific academic terms that must be met.

Comegy's contract, obtained by The Clarion-Ledger through a public records request, begins Jan. 1 and ends Dec. 31, 2014

I am going to say this once more.....

The commish was warned 6+ years ago that this was on the horizon AND given the remedy but no steps were taken to head off what the conference is now experiencing. The ball was placed in his court and he did NOTHING. He (the commish who shall remain nameless) was warned this was on coming. The suggestion was to hire someone to oversee APR conference wide.

I am through entertaining this subject.

On another note....the Southland had three schools banned but since I don't give a flip about what happens in other conferences that is all I will say about that.

Maybe this has been talked about in the Sports Board and I just never paid any attention, but our Conference/The Commissioner/Presidents can't they put things in place as a preventive measure to keep this from happening?

It just seems as if we are simply schools that are affiliated with each other but everybody is doing their own thing. Strong accountability measures should be in place. This would help each one of our schools to handle our business and keep everything intact.

What remedy was he given and who gave it to him?

Dumb ass. Damn. Have you never been a part of an audit?

No need to get personal, just show me the NCAA requesting faulty data. You do recall that Broussard and company for two whole weeks searched high and low and you're telling me that it was for faulty data?! LOL! You guys said none of this during the investigation. All I heard was, "we'll be fine"; "I have the utmost confidence that Broussard will get us through this". Didn't hear one word about no faulty data.
NOW you're claiming that the data was faulty all along?! Please bruh, miss me with that. LOL!
