Bradley Roby to Denver. Tigerpride is happy. He know Roby's folks in Atlanta and Denver is his team. I guess both our teams drafted Buckeyes. Now to get Hyde drafted early in the second round.

Yessir! Known him since he was 5! :happydance:

This is proof that I have been living right. :D

Did anyone else notice that no RB's were taken in the 1st round, what's up with that!

RBs have been de-valued in this modern NFL. Folks know you can get a RB in the late rounds that can produce. Unless it is an Adrian Peterson type RB talent as most scouts have said. No one is worthy of a 1st round pick. Not to mention folks like to use multiple RBs to wear down defenses. You don't want to pay 1st round money to one guy. QBs,OLs, and WRs or a big fast TE is what drives these teams offensively these days.

Jeremy Hill wont be the 1st one off the board lmao hahaha
Seriously, I think Tre Mason will be the 1st one followed by Hyde and then Bishop Sankey

Hyde will go first. He can catch as well. Plus he ain't from up North as GR says. He is Florida kid that went to Ohio State. All of the Ohio State top picks this year are from the South. Shazier to my Steelers is from Florida as well and Roby is from the ATL.

ya'll can talk about devaluing of running backs all you want, but I still think defense and running the ball wins in the post season. Todd Gurley is a BEAST and should be a really high pick next year.

P.S. I reeeeeeeeeeally hate Jon Gruden on draft coverage. He sucks, and Ray Lewis isn't much better.

Taylor Lewan has character issues and won't see the field? He was breaking up a fight and got charged. I still think Bridgewater would have been a better option than Locker, though.

It's not that he won't see the field. He's going to have to beat out two vets that are in their primes (LT Michael Roos & LT Michael Oher). Roos is in the last year of his contract and is 31 years old...so I understand the pick...but Bridgewater gives you the chance at sealing up the QB position for quite a while. Jake Locker is monumental bust from the 2011 QB class.

That's why I've watched NFL Network's coverage for the last 2 years.

I liked Ray as a player, but I cringed every time he opened his mouth last night. :scared:

I either muted the TV or changed the channel until the draft started and dealt with it. I'll be glad when they don't renew his contract like they did the GOAT :( lol

Why because he made a sensible pick this year and didn't give you all a great laugh...The pick was a good one since Romo spend so much time running for his life on the field...now if dumbo will spend the rest of the Draft fixing that defense I will say it will be a good year!

A more sensible pick would have been to draft a defensive lineman, but when a guy like Johnny Football falls in your hands you don't pass him up. This reminds me of the Randy Moss debacle. Dallas drafted a offensive lineman last year with their first round pick, a no name center that most predicted would go in the third round. Our defensive line is atrocious at best.

Romo was sacked 35 times last season, is 34 and coming off two back surgeries. Dallas invested a ton of money in him, and it's best to protect that investment.

Thanks for kicking logic to them. The defensive cats that they wanted to take in the 1st were already gone in Aaron Donald, and Shazier and nobody wanted to trade up, so they picked the highest rated guy on their board.

A lot of sacks are Romo fault, trust me. Dude holds onto the damn ball too long. The defensive line has been gutted by Jerry Jones.

You can't speak logic to folks who actually watch the games. Romo holds on to that damn ball way too long. I have said that a million times on this website. A love how folks throw stats out their and act like that's it.

I just wonder how much money and ESPN and NFL Network spend giving airtime and resources to Mel Kiper, Todd McShay and Mike Mayock. These MOCK DRAFTS masters are complete frauds.... Funny how leading up to the draft, the ESPN website was packed full of Kiper and McShay's draft boards.. But today, you can't find any of them (from before the draft).

Mock drafts are ridiculous and listening to them talk about these players is sickening. Mel Kiper is wrong EVERY draft, then seems to have an attitude that teams didn't pick who he thought they'd pick.....

Bustas.....

That's what y'all want, though.

Dude, I guess you have no idea what you're looking at. Romo has never had an issue with holding on to the ball. He often avoids players that come free at him from the snap of the ball. He tries to keep the plays alive and sometimes they get him. But he ain't holding on to the ball while WRs are running free.

As for the pick last night, I was disappointed but not mad. I wanted Aaron Donald. We got 10 picks left, so we can address the defense still. I still say we get Jernigan from FSU. And a safety.
