No, not yet....

When TX SU won it 2004, that was the 1st team to win it not named grambling, Jackson state, or SU.

So far, it has been SU, J-State, TX SU, PV, Alcorn and grambling.

To MY knowledge, Bama state has only been to the tourney 6 times: 2002, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013. Since Mel has been there, 3rd place in '12, 2nd place in '13, and now divisional champs. He is definitely turning things around.

Looking at that last inning, SU walked 3, threw 2 wild pitches, and committed an error. I think I could throw more strikes than these guys!!! :smh:
