Russell Wilson has Filed for a Divorce





White woman blues or maybe he has found out he could do a lot better, because she is definitely not a beauty queen.

Wilson probably was a nice kid who showed interest in the first person that stuck with him and he stayed with them, regardless.....now that he became successful and desired..guys that normally end up with someone early from the beginning college or high school usually step out anyway.....either he stepped out, liked what he got h stepped out or dumping her so he can

Should've got with a sista- this wouldn't have even made headlines. Look at MJ, Shaq and D Wade. They had their junk all out in the streets and in tell-all books, and nothing happened. Tiger Woods and Kobe slip up and their names were drug through the mud. Yeah, Kobe was accused of rape, basically, but you get the point. Tiger was fleeing a woman swinging a golf club at him and crashed, and they still made Elin the victim. The media doesn't care about Black women's feelings. Even Gabrielle Union is seeing that play out. And she's a celebrity.

Exactly. Wilson is getting rid of her before he gets his big money deal. LOL. He is still on his rookie contract.

Yep. She has been with him since High School and he has probably decided he can do better now that he is a celebrity. He is also dumping her before he signs a big contract and has kids. I don't think they have any children yet. So Russell may be feeling like I need to get out while I can and not have to pay half.
 
It's interesting that you all automatically assume that he stepped out or is preparing to step out. It's possible that she stepped out the marriage. White women who hang around athletes are typically easy to encourage to ... experiment ... with other dicks. Maybe one wasn't enough for her.

Also what if SHE changed and wanted to do some things Russell was not with....and she said something like "Well divorce me then..."

I have a God brother whose wife said she needed a break from the marriage...he gave her a complete break...DIVORCE...:lol:

I mean it's enough that women folks jump on the woman's bandwagon but some of yall dudes are doing the same!!!

I'm saying ....

Some folks are hinting that she was fooling around with one or a few of his teammates, but these guys have already made up their minds that Russell must have done something wrong.
 
Why are we automatically assuming that either one of them are guilty of wrong doing or being a gold digger or trying to ditch her before a big money contract emerges. How about, just as the article says, we don't know what goes on behind closed doors. What do know is that it is very hard to be HS and College sweethearts and survive a young marriage because as we grow as individuals.....we may also grow apart. Its sad that a young couple is resorting to divorce, but until any of us know the real reason lets try not to speculate.
