It sounds like one former player shot another former player over a woman, which the former player that was shot just participate in the Pro Day drills and timing run at LSU on Wednesday.

SULPHUR, La. -- Former LSU linebacker Tahj Jones is recovering from surgery and remains in serious condition after being shot Friday night by another former LSU football player.

Sulphur Police Chief Lewis Coats says Jones, a Sulphur native, was shot Friday night at an apartment complex there by 36-year-old Brandon Winey.

Coats says the 24-year-old Jones went to the apartment complex to visit a woman and that Winey arrived shortly later to visit the same woman.

Police say Winey shot Jones in the abdomen during a fight.

Sounds like more black on black crime with a woman in the middle to me. She was probably doing both of them.

Like she was keeping her options open on which would make it in the NFL. If that was the case, I bet there were other players she was doing.

Probably so..........She was probably whoring to whomever could enhance her life. There are a lot of women that will screw for money so one has to know what they're dealing with. You just can't fight and kill over this type of woman.........It's public kitty...... :lol: :emlaugh:

Which is why a lot of pro-athletes wives have a past history of sleeping with several men in sports. Even the Great Michael Jordan's first wife dated other pro-athletes prior to marrying MJ.

She probably drove to Alexandria to hold the young man's hand that is in serious condition. While driving to Alexandria, she stop in Lake Charles to counsel the young man that is in jail. She probably told him that he shouldn't have to fight over used punany.

Really this is what you came up with after reading this article...when it stated the age of the shooter at somewhere around 36 she is waiting to see which would make to the NFL huh...You were one of them that brought your degree weren't you go ahead and admit it!

I'm sure you realized that the most plausible theory in this story on why they were fighting is that she probably was screwing both men. Them screwing other women is the BS you and DCG wants to add to the story. :emlaugh:

The thread I started about spring game activities isn't the same as this incident involving former LSU football players. Plus, there have been WAY more LSU threads than of any other non-SWAC school maybe with the exception of Bama.

The JSU/MVSU/Alcorn alums don't post each and every development that happens at Ole Miss, Miss. State or USM. The UAPB people aren't posting stuff about Arkansas. Our friends from TSU and PV don't constantly post stuff about the other Texas D1 schools.

But there is a steady steam of LSU news, though.

I'm sure you read the title of this thread with the letters "L-S-U" in it. That should have been your sign for you not to open it.
