LET'S GO SWAC!!!!

TSU vs Toledo tied at 0 going into the bottom of the 6th. Toledo is the home team and they are playing at LSU.

Iowa defeated MS Valley 9-4. Valley led 3-2 going to the top of the 8th and gave up 3 in the 8th and 4 in the 9th.

Final:
S Dakota St 12
Bama A&M 5

AAMU led 4-0 at the end of 6. Then, SDSU scored 10 runs in the top of 7.

Because of travel issues, the Alcorn/Arizona game scheduled for today has been postponed and they will play a DH tomorrow.

su lost to a community college team at home?! Exhibition or not, that's kinda embarassing. Wow!!

SU has lost exhibitions to LSU-Eunice also, in years they have won the SWAC. A Rickie Weeks lead 2003 team, the best HBCU baseball team in the modern era(24 players drafted off that team), lost to Loyola @ SU.

It’s a scrimmage JayRob, not a real game. I mean, they are keeping scores but this is like practice. How can you say it’s embarrassing to lose when the coaches are calling pitches against their own team? Games like this, Cador will play freshmen and a lot of kids who don’t get much PT during the season and have players who are not hitting well work on their approach at the plate in this game.

The real embarrassing part is the lack of scheduling on SU’s part!!!! Why is SU not playing anyone this week is the problem? That’s why I’m :smh: in my original post. SU is playing no 1. SU has been guilty of scheduling horribly for a long time.

I don’t see a problem scheduling an exhibition near the end of the season, like in the past playing LSU-E. Right near tourney time, give those bench kids some PT just in case they are needed then. But right now, the starters need more PT.

The loss(which is not a loss, just an exhibition) is not embarrassing. Yesterday and today scrimmages should have been played in the fall. The lack of scheduling by SU is embarrassing!!!! SU should have been a playing a D1 opponent this weekend, LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN THE CONFERENCE!!!!!

We scheduled our scrimmages in the fall against Junior Colleges. I saw that the other team was 0-10 going into this game.

They are still 0-10. These games were/are played like fall scrimmages. What I see(or think I see) is 2nd base is still up for grabs, a good number of outfielders vying for playing time, the need for 2 catchers and 2 1st basemen.

But I feel these things could have been worked on in regular season games before the conference starts.....just like everyone else.
