Swac Basketball - 1/13/14

Question......if Banks gets you to the tourney and you "make some noise"......how long do you think he will remain at su?

Banks had offers last season that would have doubled his salary. Banks said SU was his dream job. His dad, god father(Bob Love), and brother played for SU. He also grew up going to SU games. However I think the only way he leaves if a high major comes calling.

I was thinking of asking that question as well! I hope he's able to continue building the program so the SWAC can get a seed other than a 15 or 16. I would love to see two schools qualifying and making noise in the tourney.

If he were to go or any coaches from the SWAC, I would love to see them go into a situation that's already succesful. You know, not going to a dead end job where the incoming coach is setup to fail.

More importantly, I hope the player gets well soon. Playing a college sport is only temporary. I'm happy it was detected early before something tragic would've happened.

Lastly, thanks for legitimately answering the question.

Banks said SU was the 2nd best job in the State of Louisiana.
