I asked a few weeks ago and all of you were scratching your head. And the dude you all did name was a bean pole.

Oh well. We all know where you stand in that department.

when has SU not had a QB.

Heck that's every QB in the SWAC LOL. 99% of these HBCU Qbs can run and throw. The only QB I ever saw that you couldn't scheme around is Steve McNair. Unless this kid is the 2nd coming we're not worried. There was nothing particularly special about SU's offensive scheme last year.

Our next coach won't be Nix..

They been following the Alcorn route. Only problem is that Alcorn thrives in OOC FCS competition :lol:.

I heard. Down to a few now.

BTW, we don't brag on having the next McNair, or TC Vick type stuff at SU. Our Qbs always have played within our system we run. We have a kid that has potential to do great things in the offense we run. Especially with the weapons he will have and OL returning. If we could win with Jacoby for two years. We can win with this kid. He is my least worry. I worry more about the trenches and kids staying healthy and eligible.

This is the SWAC Shaw. The cat will have a ton of offensive players returning. He will be fine. No one said he will light the SWAC up. But he will be better than what TP or some of yall think. SU Qbs play within themselves. Yall have seen that long enough to know better. We don't look or boast about having the next Steve McNair or stuff like that. But this kid got the tools. No different than yall were high on Ivey.

Which is why we are not worried about an SU QB... and we are not really that high on Ivy. We were just less high on Casey. Im not so sure that Ingram won't be our starter next year.

Nobody is saying he ain't going to have growing pains. But you can't just dismiss the kid without even knowing his talent. TP has no clue. He just reaching. Hell yall got to figure out a QB too. Ivey coming back from injury and Moore gone. PV is probably in the best Qb shape along with Alcorn. PB with Anderson would be another one.
