Black Monday

Dallas need to fire Jerry. He's the one who made the hires and drafted the players.

The owner needs to fire the GM. Then the owner can concentrate on promoting the team like he said he wanted to do when he signed those deals in the early '90s.

Sounds like some mad folks in here.

It sure does. Some are mad that they will attack anyone, even if that person is telling the truth and means no harm.

Uh Frazier will get another NFL gig as an assistant. The SWAC can't afford him. LOL.

He should get one next season. I think he should get another head coaching position in a few seasons.

Cowgirl fans are about the most delusional bunch in the NFL, which is why JJ has continued to make money for what he is doing. It's the American business model, which is, make as much money as you possibly can by providing the cheapest product.

The Cowboys of today remind me of the Raiders of the mid to late '90s. They had some 9-7 and 8-8 seasons. They had the talent to win 10 games but could not make the playoffs. They had an involved owner and a fan base that was national. They got Gruden, made multiple playoffs, and made the Super Bowl in 2002. (I think that they made a mistake in firing Hue Jackson.) Now, they are a train wreck. They went from an average team to a bad one.

The Cowboys lately have been average. The last three years they have had to win on the last game of the regular season but lost each of them. Let's not forget the 44-6 spanking that they took in 2008 by Philadelphia. While they have some talented players, they are an average team.

Jerry Jones to most is trying to be Al Davis. Yet, for the last 25 years of his reign, the Raiders did not have a lot of great teams. However, unlike Jones Davis was a pro and college football coach, league commissioner, and someone who built Super Bowl champions. For about a 30-year run, they had the best record percentage wise in pro sports. There is a difference in the two football resumes.

The Cowboys will be average at best as long as the owner is the general manager. They could become consistently very bad. Look at the Raiders.

And their fan base is beginning to look like that Raiders fan base.

Why would McNabb be having fun with this? McNabb was a piece of garbage when he went to the skins. MS should have benched his fragile punk ass from the beginning. McNabb was so terrible that the in division rival eagles said "here take him we dare you to play him " that's how bad he was. I think the Shanahans were too patient with RG3 and McNabb. Now they are unemployed ....rich but unemployed

I hope Cowboys Nation understands that this is not a 1-15 team like in 1989.

This is a football team which has gone 8-8 in 2011, 2012, 2013. There is some talent there unlike 1989. The key is squeezing the rest of the potential out of this Dallas Cowboys bunch. Dez Bryant is going to have to become a Playmaker (and no, I'm not blind). When a ball is thrown up for grabs, Calvin Johnson and Alshon Jeffery make that play. Dez just seemingly doesn't even attack the deep ball for a chance to grab it. He doesn't time his jumps right.

Cowboys Nation, we have something. We just need to mold it to be more efficient.

I felt better about that 1-15 team than any of the past five teams.

In 1989, you could see the potential. A good young QB taking his lumps, but you could see the talent and will to win. A good coach who knew how to win.

We have no QB. Not a QB that can win anything worthwhile. Don't see a coach with a pulse. Owner and administration "want" to win, but don't know how. I see no Herschel Walker trade on the horizon. No ability to analyze and draft talent. :noidea:

I'm so disgusted. :shame:

Why would they? They know they haven't given him a talented team and he went 8-8 after a real bad start.
you cant discount the bad start...Tomlin is a horrible coach. Im surprised the Rooneys are letting that token hang around so long. Theyve done enough for minority hiring
