What am I picking one for?.. We knew he applied and he might want to keep applying. We could get rid of the entire staff on Dec 31 for $50K. His son is about to enter college soon. I am sure he wants some stability and he does not have that in Jackson. I doubt that anything regarding that is about to change.

I was talking about before he came to JSU. A LOT of schools were trying to get Comegy in the MEAC and the SWAC but he said that he would only leave TU if the JSU job came open. Proof was in the pudding. He tried to get the JSU job in 2003 and in 2006. At no other time did he seriously consider leaving TU.

I never said he was a great coach but he is the best coach in the SWAC. No other team can match what he has done in the last 4 years. His record is like 32-12. No other school can match it.. most of ya'll like 12-32 :lol:

However, in the last 8 years, JSU has 4 SCGs appearances, a lot of winning seasons, and one trophy. SU has ONE SCG appearance, a whole lot of losing seasons and a trophy.
Ya'll need to stay focused.

In the last 8 years, since Comegy been at JSU, you have 3 SCG appearances, 2-3 losing seasons, SIX losses to Jackson State and one trophy.

If not for the shameful state of your program, GSU could stay in the convo because you have MORE than one trophy... but uuuuuum, ya'll were the embarrassment to BCF this year. You embarrassed black folks, black schools, and HBCU athletics.

OKKKKKK!!!! See, this is why I hate losing more than I like winning. See, winners move on after a win , no need to number crunch. BUT LOSERS??? Losers go in the past, while currently their entire athletic program is in shambles. Losers "share" victories that other teams won. Losers talk down to a school who should single-handedly sue them for every penny they have, GOT MILK? We are focused over here lol. As for odums, it really is hard to turn down your alma mater especially if the money is right....but I have seen coaches have loyalty to a program so who knows. Big worm needs to do what's best for big worm, bottom line.

YOU ARE MORE THAN RIGHT, THIS YEAR GRAMBLING WAS A EMBARRASSMENT, THAT WAS THIS YEAR!! We are more than ever committed to the betterment of Grambling State University, over 100K was raised weeks after the boycott, our students are committed to passing a student fee to support athletics, and our budget will stabilize after than legislative session, all around Grambling is about to reclaim our place as the ICON, so while yall rejoice over a winning season, you will never be able to say you have a winning program, because winning programs actually win championships not 1 championship out of 5 tries !
