A lot of these people have no idea what's going on they just post for the hell of it......That MTSU ball club has a 29 home game winning streak and went 28-6 last year....We should have took them though, it's our fault.

I have to disagree. We haven't adopted to the new rules. Too many fouls. Team has to do better. This was a winnable game.

Not sure what you're disagreeing with...........I stated earlier in this thread we should have won. IMHO S.U. got several questionable calls though.....including that key call in the last minute or so when the refs gave MTSU the ball when it was clear that MTSU had knocked the ball out of bounds.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Southern men’s basketball coach Roman Banks has heard the compliments when shaking hands after Southern’s first two games.

The latest came Sunday, after a 78-75 loss at Middle Tennessee, when Kermit Davis, a former LSU assistant, told him: “Great job, you’ve got your guys playing like a mid-major team.”

Those words echoed what Banks heard Friday night, after a 63-56 loss at No. 17 Marquette, when an assistant told him, “Y’all aren’t the average team. Everybody gets ready for you now.”

Banks, of course, would prefer a breakthrough win, a statement win, a signature win. But respect is respect, a commodity prized because the salute is earned and never merely given.

“Southern is looked at a little different now,” Banks said. “I do know that.”

Not a SWAC score but the brother coaching at Oregon State is on the hot seat. This didn't help
